You keep pretending that I’m pretending the Canucks are building a contender and I’ll keep laughing at you. Im discussing one trade, which given the circumstances, is a good trade for the team. I hope they’re more competitive next year as all this losing is getting tiresome. - DraftandDestroy
I thought the Horvat trade was a good trade.
The Hronek trade, I'm not thrilled about. I thought they could wait until the summer to make that kind of trade. We'll have to wait and see how effective it ends up being. I would have rathered taking a chance on the picks. But that's me. The organization has a different plan and that is to retool for the 10th year in a row.
Anyway, as one of your personalties keeps harping on about, that won't change until the child-beating owner is gone.
Table 12 needs water re-fills. |

Top 6? You're just as bad as Vantel. - Load Management
I said top 6 when Jake and Loui were our top six and I was bang on. I also said if he moves down to third line that is fine, that would mean we now acquired better forwards. Again bang on.
I also said he had good speed, a surprising shot, good passer, great along the boards, would score 8 to 10 goals his first year and about 25 points. I don't know how much more accurate I could have been.
The Bobfather should have used me.
But twist it the way you and Hefty want, that's fine. |

You can hit the archives all you want; I know exactly what I said about the kid. I pointed out that he was better than the current roster and will become a good player and you guys took it that he will be the next OV.
But I do love the thinking of the fanbase. Everyone wants draft picks and trade this guy and that guy so we can get picks and then we want to trade our young drafted players after two years.
Podz is exactly what this team needs. I think he is one of the best at puck retrieval on the team next to Petey. In case you guys haven't figured out yet you need the puck to score. I know that is very obvious but some of you guys are not the sharpest pencil.
I see Tochett had him out in OT the other night and even on PP1 for a very little bit.
This kid will be good. Not great but good. Absolutely something the Canucks needed. I think find him a good center and him and Kravstov will soon be a fun line. |

Brock in the middle. He needs a full two minutes to release.
I know I am probably the only one but I like Garland. I mostly see the puck in the other teams zone when he is on the ice and more scoring chances. Brock is the one that needs to go. |

At that time, people were talking about Gaudette being the 2LC. |

They both need to go. Garland plays good once every ten games, other than that he’s a 5’8” perimeter player, and Boeser just needs a change of scenery. He looks totally unmotivated and uninterested. |

They are pretty well equal. Much more happens at both ends of the ice with Boeser than Garland though. |

that’s a total lie just to make yourself feel better about your dumbass because I don’t follow prospects unless they’re top five, although I will throw out the occasional “he’s big and/or fast so take him”. |

Pad your stats game tonight. Canucks should make it fair and play the 4th line the most, 3rd line 2nd most and so on. |

I was actually thinking about how long you argued about how there was no chance that Luongo would retire. |
