You also don't seem to understand that my issue is not with ex Flyers players. My issue is with the ex Flyers players who are a part of the organization currently and that's because of how they ran this franchise into the ground.

Pretty much.

Why I believe it is possible is because they have a good foundation in goal- Hart and Ersson. I'm not suggesting it is likely, and they need an "agressive retool" by shipping out 2-3 players who have term left on their contracts and get back a combo of picks and players with a lower cap hit and less term.

The Flyers have good solid goaltending now and they're nowhere close to making the playoffs.

I personally believe that the Flyers can't turn it around until 2 things happen:

1) This list of players are off the books without giving up any assets and no additional long term contracts are added to it

2) They bring in younger/cheaper players that can contribute and have an impact

I think ESPN finally put their foot down and won't show terrible content because the game is schedule for ESPN+ and it's nowhere to be found.

Cates, Laughton and Ristolainen have all started ahead of JvR many times this season as the net front presence, which I feel is absurd and probably hurt JvR’s value to degree. I’m not saying he’s not flawed but the best way to up a player’s value is to have him work to his strengths.

By shipping out MacEwen and Brown and bring up Tanner Laczynski. I think it’s a step (kind of) but we’ll find out more once Lemieux, Braun and JvR walk.
