Agree. It is a pretty rare occurrence for a goalie to make that jump so soon. Stripes listed a few great goalies that still needed a year in the AHL.

So we need to punt on next year because we don’t want to hurt Levi’s feelings?

If that’s the case, you bring in a starter and Levi, UPL, Comrie compete for the 1b job.

I know I am the furthest thing from a hockey talent evaluator, but man hanging the close of this season and next on a college goalie?!? Man that seems like a plan with a very low chance of success.

It's all well and good for now becasue those players are assumed not to make the NHL, what happens when you have 5 1st round picks that cant crack the lineup? Value plunges and other GM's pick them up for scraps (all of those players were given away). Be careful saying turtle pace GMKA is handling this well and the future is bright. There will be a small window where the perceived value of these picks and players will hold water, after that, useless.

Because I’d Rank Peterka probably 4-5 out of those prospects listed.

After they get Levi signed, they will go get a starting goalie. Maybe keep upl as the backup, Comrie can go. Gibson for a couple of years while Levi starts, plays big minutes developing his pro game in the A. When Gibson’s contract is done, it’s between UPL and Levi for who takes the #1 role. I don’t think Levi would freak if they did this, he doesn’t seem to have an out of control ego. If he sets the world on fire, great, bring him up sooner and deal one of the other two.

No line rushes, just special teams work. Tuch and Dahlin are working on the first power play group. Victor Olofsson not working with either power play unit.

Maybe both are good to go for tomorrow?

Olofsson's EV ice time has remained relatively level for the past 15 games, typically playing the lowest or second lowest among all players. Stays around the high 10's.

His powerplay time has been among the top 3 skaters during this span. So not being on either PP will be brand new. And a clear indictment of his absolute uselessness.

I think you should take a change of direction...
Pick 2, 2 hour segment ts each week to allow political talk only during that time. Say Monday from 10:00a-12:00p, then Thursday 4:00 - 6:00.
