It's all well and good for now becasue those players are assumed not to make the NHL, what happens when you have 5 1st round picks that cant crack the lineup? Value plunges and other GM's pick them up for scraps (all of those players were given away). Be careful saying turtle pace GMKA is handling this well and the future is bright. There will be a small window where the perceived value of these picks and players will hold water, after that, useless.

Granted, I’ve been following hockey more as of late. I am behind on my nfl happenings.

I miss the working days of being in the field driving around and listening to nfl radio on Sirius. Now I sit at a desk all day.

All these high picks on defense and we cant sack the qb still.

Read that Milano is gonna move to mlb if Edmunds leaves. I'm guessing its McDermott's scheme.

I thought this was gonna be an offensive draft, now I feel like we're gonna be plugging on defense....

Maybe a wr early, now maybe a lb early

Correct, or an offense that actually throws the ball.

Ed Oliver is looking to get paid big time after this season, he's been inconsistent a lot of his career. If he is looking for big money, and you can trade him and get something of value for him I would consider it.

That could also make room for the Bills to re-sign Edmunds AND Poyer...

That's true and all, but Mooney was supposed to break out for the last couple years now. Showed some flashes, but never panned out. Very similar to Oliver too i guess.

Fields is a running QB. He has started 25 games in his career and has played in 27 and Allen has thrown the ball more in 1 season than Field has in 2. They just don't throw it.
