IS anyone excited that we could have Levi in system in two weeks? - hubie
I'm excited for the promise of him being under contract, not sure he's ready yet, but will be nice to have a blue chip goalie prospect on the books again. |

I seem to have been right so far, they will wait on Okposo it's his choice. - SABRES 89
Understandable... I'd let KO know hes not nearly the player he was even last year.
Time to hang em up. |

Set to hold until you start to figure out his cap hit and term on his next deal, right? - kingcong39
Someday, Sabre fans will prioritize how good a player is over his cap hit and contract and we will be a lot better for it
Mittelstadt has been a bonafide top L1/2 winger for the last 30+ games. If that continues the next 20 he should absolutely stay |

Are they a budget team or will no expense be spared with Stanley cups being the real objective? I'm confused. |

Are you suggesting Okposo is staying... orrr that you don't know if they'll keep the Kulich/Savoie's ? - DirtyDan
They're keeping these players in all reasonable trade offers.

Did Adam's make some headway at the TDL with a team or two?
I know Botts needed 14 months to make a trade, hopefully Adam's didn't find his Trade Project Plan Gantt Chart. |

Keep in the lineup coming out of training camp next year.
IF Okposo stays or they have the kids come in they wouldn't need to acquire a forward.

I donât see him getting over 4.5-5 mil, which for this level of play is perfectly fine
If they end up swapping him for a young D, great, thatâs fine.
But weâre a cap floor team who just got big bargains on their top 2 Câs and people are so obsessed with his next contract because they made up their minds about him two years ago so any excuse to move him is what they will argue
And I donât mean to single out 39, because itâs a lot of people |

Well, you'll have an idea of what they think of those two between the draft and ufa.
Remember they left spots open for JJ and JQ.
No one wants to hear it, but you need to be careful who you bring in here long term to ensure those guys get a proper opportunity.
Makes me think they either hold onto Olofsson till one of those two are ready, or they use Olo to get a D or a pick and buy a 4th liner or two. |

Seems the common denominator is Olofsson. As soon as Mitts got a taste with the top line he has been a different player. Unless Olofsson is in one of his 10 game heaters he brings everyone down around him. |

If it's $5mx7yrs I am out. If it's $4.5x4 I can see it. Frontload the actual dollars so you can get out of it in a couple years by unloading him to "another budget team." Not necessarily because he won't live up to it, moreso in case the plethora of prospects they have come to fruition to replace him and improve. |

I want nothing more than the Jets to trade draft capital right now
They're are posed to be good if they can get a long term QB figured out. Trading for Rodgers for a year or two and giving up at least a 1st and probably a 2nd round pick doesn't get them to where they really need to be IMO.
Last year you can see Rodgers either mailed it in, or his game is really starting to falter - Stripes77
Spicy take
No way the Bill's can re-tool a bit this offseason or next if Rodgers ends up in ny. Full speed ahead.
Basically only thing stopping us from getting the AFC east home field game annually.
I was really hoping it was carr to the jets

Giving Mitts a 7 year contract based on his half year of good play would be mind numbing.
If he carries this into next season, perhaps he gets a 4x4.5 mid season extension.

Here's the real question. Do they view olofsson as a playoff piece say 2 years from now given all the prospects they have and his actual on ice impact? If no, move on sooner rather than later. Retain half, package him with something else, maybe ++ and get that top 4 young d (maybe still prospect even) |

Sabres are above the cap floor for next season with 10F, 7D, 2G.
Unfortunately for the clown, there shouldn't be any more Ben Bishop's. |

I'd personally do what I could to turn him into a real defenseman.

Jost back in tonight according to Donnie. Wonder how Girgensons is, missed some time last night after that Bjugstad hit. |
