...it’s also kinda funny though, when you’re the one who just can’t grasp the concept of toughness that others speak of. If it can’t be laid out in black and white stats you struggle to see any value. You keep coming back to meaningless stats to try to prove you’re right, when all along you’re the one missing the point. Then when that doesn’t work you cherry-pick certain examples that enforce your narrative. You don’t agree with the idea that a degree of toughness (not hit counts) adds to a team’s success. That’s ok, you don’t have to go on and on trying to enlighten us.

I've been texting back and forth with my buddy all day.

He has greenway as a 15-20 goal scorer next year.

Something about vanek saying he could be a 30 goal scorer on the radio earlier.

Funny part, he had asplund to Minnesota straight up for greenway, before the trade deadline. We were doing them the favor for the 3 million $ contract.... no picks involved 🤔

All I have to go on is what is what I saw on the ice over the course of the last two very big games. I wasn’t expecting goals honestly, but I was expecting to notice him playing a heavy game.

This team has had so many nice long summer vacations that they never want to be in the playoffs. This is on the coach for not getting the team motivated. They are never going anywhere. It is time to bring in an experienced coach and GM and that can turn this team around. These guys just do NOT care or are not coached to give 110%. I have never seen a team choke so many times when it really matters. It is the same old crap every year. There is no do or die drive. Just spurts and then mediocrity.

Adams and co. Not doing anything about the D corps last summer or at the deadline is so unforgivable

Chychrun would have killed this franchise for all eternity and it would have been an overpay.

Greenway who cost a pick you absolutely couldn’t move Chychrun for I was talked into being excited about because he was okay before the the coaching change.

Jacob Bryson, who should be on an AHL second pair, played over 18 minutes in a must win game a few days after the deadline because the GM couldn’t figure out how to add a legit 3/4 D man which about 10 other teams figured out how to add one.

Lost this game because the Islanders play a
shutdown, boring system that stifled us and we had 2 ECHL defensemen in our lineup,
Plus we are missing our second best forward.
Timing stinks but it is what it is. We also have one of the hardest schedules to close out the season.
We will sneak into a wild card spot or just miss.
We
Will have more 20 goal scorers this year than past 5 years combined.
We will have a hart trophy finalist for first time
In 30 years.
We will have our first 50 goal scorer since Moginly.
We will have a Norris finalist for first time in who know how long.
Cozens is the real deal. Might end up being top 3 from that draft.
Savoie could be straight to NHL.
Levi is the best goalie prospect out there.
Should I continue?
