Victor is really only good for one thing, scoring goals otherwise he is a liability. He is having a really rough go of it, 1 game eating press box food could do him some good. - hehateme
12 shots in the last 5 games for olofsson.
Not sure how it helps to sit a career streaky player?
Rough go yes, still getting some opportunities, yes...
Probably should sit #12, guy brought in to hit people.
Last 2 games
#12 = 3 hits
#72 = 5 hits |

Currently on a 15 game goalless drought. 3 apples in that span.
Before getting hot in January, in a period of 25 games he had 4 goals and 4 assists
Other than the current drought. He's had 3 other droughts over 5 games. |

That's an awkward number to pick, when 2 of them could slide again. 9 or 39 are magic numbers. - Lunaion
Meant as more as an average
I think Savoie gets around 5-7 games and is sent back. Imo it will be clear he isn’t ready quite quickly
Kulich gets around 20 as first or second call up and ends up possibly a regular if things go well
Rosen is a wild card, I think they definitely get him some games but idk what role he carves out |

For a player that makes nearly 5 million you would hope he would show up more than 1/3 of the time. |

Of the first round prospects the Sabres have in the system (not including Johnson)
Rosen
Savoie
Ostlund
Kulich
Odds favor one completely being a bust, one being underwhelming, one being probably a Mittelstadt caliber player and another being very good
Curious what category everyone would put Ostlund and Savoie in considering if I had to guess, most of us would pick Rosen to bust and Kulich to be very good |

Here's how it helps.
Hey Rasmus, we are giving you a couple days off so you can find yourself.
We have some video for you to review of both your scoring streak and the conversely your current slump. Evaluate the differences so you can get back on track.
We need ya brother, to be clear we really need your scoring to become more reliable, more consistent.
Also, watch the game tonight from upstairs, it will give you a better perspective from up there...try envisioning what you plan to do to change your game to that end.
Now go get'em killer!!!
.
Oh, BTW do you prefer cold or warm weather climates during the season? |

All odds are not created equal.
They have the same amount of odds as being all great as they do all bad.

I’m theory, yes. But in reality no.
We have a top 10 pick, two mid firsts and a late first
The interesting part of this exercise is that the late first is probably the teams best prospect right now |

Think lottery picks have about a 75% chance of playing 100+ games. Supports your game a bit. Not sure what the odds on Girgs level burnout are, but it could be in the 25% ballpark as well.
Don't want to trash Rosen, but no one seems to like him. Savoie and Kulich look like 100+ game locks. |

Rosen- Olofsson (but closer to replacement level at 5v5 and not a complete black hole). They had Wallstedt right there which is unfortunate. Pick seemed like a reach at the time, and evidence to date hasn’t proven otherwise. Rosen will be an NHL player but hardly one I wouldn’t deem untouchable in any trade this offseason.
Savoie- Brayden Point lite (similar styles but I dont think he possesses true PPG offensive ability that Point does. A 60-70 point complete pain in the arse to play against though).
Ostlund- Mikael Granlund (I think Ostlund’s point totals will ultimately depend on who he plays with but he’s got speed for days and playmaking ability that can fit like a glove in our middle 6 with the shooters we have coming through the ranks).
Kulich- JT Miller (no nonsense north south player that I truly think can rack up a ton of points at the next level riding with Tage or Cozens)

Think Rosen will be a decent player, but out of the 4 I would use him as a trade chip. Probably use Ostlund to depending on what the return was. |

You have one spot in your top 9 for 4 prospects Savoie,Kulich,Ostlund,Rosen. Unless you are stashing them all on line 4 and rolling them 10 minutes a night.
Pick 2 and trade 2, IMO. |

On March 9, 1973 Tim Horton scored his last NHL goal. It was in a 5 - 2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. 50 years ago today, and now he's the most famous coffee man since Juan Valdez.

Eh. I think they should definitely trade one of them.
Only one I wouldn’t touch is Kulich.
Ostlund is 2-3 years away from being a regular so guys will be out the door by then |
