Getting there... Outta the hotel, into a really good family shelter. (Minus the poopty water pressure and, well, roaches... And I don't mean the kind Kick leaves around...)

We're essentially in a large 3 bedroom apartment, while we work with on-site staff helping us get re-homed, as well as on site mental health support... Which is huge. We're a lot closer to the kids' schools, and we get to actually cook our own food, which wasn't an option when we were hotel bound.

The rental market is insane out here still, we're hoping to get in to some of the market city housing, as it's almost half the cost of a 3 bedroom apartment... And that's talking 4-5 bedroom townhomes, which would be amazing for us.

So, we're making forward progress, slowly but surely.
