I watch a little bit of hgtv remodel stuff. When they come across a bidet it’s the first thing that has to go. Apparently they were a thing in the eighties in Ontario.

Ah HGTV....if music isnt playing in the (most of the time it is), then hgtv or food network is on in the background

If I had my way all bathrooms would have a urinal. However most wives aren’t that enthusiastic about it.

If you prop your feet up to change the alignment of your chute, you can achieve a fuller, cleaner evacuation that reduces routine paperwork considerably.

I bought the Squatty Potty - it was on sale at Home Depot (no, I swear) for less than $20.

Of course I'm not allowed to leave it out, so it stays in the bathroom closet, but I'll bring it out on special occasions, and yeah, it does work.

A separate bidet is overkill but a bidget attachment or a toilet seat with a built in bidet is my go-to housewarming gift these days

I was hesitant at first, but it beats smearing doodoo around like it's soft butter with a fragile piece of paper

necessity is the mother of invention

thank you great toilet paper shortage of 2020

Preach it.

I adopted one when I bought my house. It was a stand alone that took a little time to warm up. Hated it ...tried it ...learned to love it.

Reno'd the bathroom since then so now I've got a toilet/bidet combo and I now hold my poops wherever I am in the world so that I can properly poop at home and get a proper ass cleaning.

Every house should have one. You can't wipe all the poop away with TP!!

Sorry, I have to ask:

What was the learning curve like?

I just imagine myself covered head to toe in poop water for the first few weeks.

You make sure it's angled right or else you end up spraying your balls, then you learn to do a little shimmy to get everything. Tp to dry up, that's all.

it can be warm if you have a warm water connection nearby or toilet is next to the sink but I'm used to the cold, doesn't bother me anymore. it's the feeling of freshness
