There were a few positives from the game tonight.
I got to see Perry get speared. I can't stand that guy
The flyers lost the game with no loser points awarded
And TDA should get a few games suspension so I don't have to watch him make stupid plays anymore
Go flyers! |

I'm sorry, but I have to be consistent. I hate Brad Marchand for the many stupid and cheap shots he has taken at players over the years. What DeAngelo did last night in a game that was essentially over was completely unacceptable; it has no place in this or any league. I hope he is suspended for 10 games, but more importantly, I really don't want DeAngelo on the Flyers either. He is a disgrace! Shame on Torts for after the game stating he likes the competiveness of DeAngelo and wished it would rub off on his other players. He needs to quickly back away from that comment today! |

Do any of the beats have the balls to ask Torts why only certain players get benched? Both Provorov and Risto were putrid last night, and it’s far from the first such night for either, but they never get sat.
It’s obvious, at least to me, that Tortorella plays favorites and he needs to be called out on it. |

It goes all the way back to preseason. He has played favorites from the very start and IMO it looks very arbitrary.

If the Flyers dont suspend Deangelo, my paper thin respect that i currently have for this shambles of an organization is completely shredded. Tort's saying he wished his other players had Deangelo's fire after he commit's the dirtiest play if seen in a long time is ridiculous!!! Christ he bench's players for making a bad pass, he better (frank)ing do something here! |

I have zero issue with TDA taking a little stab at a guy like Perry. It wasn’t overly aggressive, just enough to say Frank you |

It was a tough night for Risto. Not one of his better outings. |

Now that you off your soap box….was it really that bad? It was settled on the ice the way it should be. TDA said himself said he took 30 shots while on the ground. It’s nothing that Perry doesn’t do or hasn’t done his whole career. He tried seconds before to go after his hands so TDA lost his cool a bit and gave him a decent but not over the top chuck to the nads. That poop used to happen every game. In todays game he might get an extra game or two which might be good for the Flyers in their own end. |

Why would the Flyers suspend him? He did exactly what the Flyers want him to do.
Now the NHL? I'm betting he gets 2 games.

Both those guys were bad last night. I just think Torts ran out of guys to bench. Speedy, quick teams seem to give Risto some issues for sure. |

He's probably happy that he wasn't traded so that he doesn't have to go through the rigors of the playoffs. So glad he is outta here after this season. Another great signing by Hexy. Now genius Chucky just needs to find takers for Hayes, Sanheim (very unlikely with the new contract) and Angelo this off season. |

That actually might be an issue. Kind of embarrassing for an older player. It would be tough on the ego. |

In watching this team every night, I really wouldn’t be broken up by any one of them getting moved out. Some more then others. |

It's up to the league to handle the situation and they will suspend him if they deem it necessary. |
