I was thinking the same thing watching the game tonight. The Flyers played well given the lineup they had but there is still something missing in Carolina's game and I think you nailed it. I hate to say it, but Boston will annihilate them in the playoffs.

Just like you and him both nailed the Frost situation? Boston will probably annihilate every team they face.

FYI, Water Boy wins the game, gets the girl and teaches his coach not to be a moron anymore

Mark my words, Frost will not be part of the solution on this team going forward.

Yup .. just keep staring at the metrics tracked by high school kids in their mom's basement. People like myself that have actually played and coached the game know much more than you!

One game sample. Carolina is a top 10 scoring team in the NHL at 3.38 goals per game.
- MJL
Carolina knows they have this issue themselves. Not a one game sample cause I watch some of their games when I can. This has haunted them in past years come playoff time, and that's why they went out and got Stastny and Patches. It's a concern of theirs as is goaltending.

Guy claims victory cause of metrics. I'll take my game watching/knowledge over your metrics any day. Your fancy stats don't end up to squat and I'll bet that Frost is on the bubble as far as being with this team going forward. What is Frost in your eyes in reality? You think he' a top 6 forward in the NHL?

It is a one game sample. I know you don't like facts but again, Carolina is a top 10 scoring team in the NHL. Every team that thinks they can contend tries to add players.

Scoring chances are fancy stats! It has been factually proven that your observations are off the mark and not accurate. So you can take them.

Things are definitely moving in Philadelphia. Not 100% sure where it’s heading but today could be a big day for the Flyers.

He just had Charlie O'Connor on his show and they were talking about what the Flyers might do:

I guess that's why I can't get an answer from your buddy about where Frost fits in. And I would be a great addition to their front office thank you very much. You think Frost is a top 6 forward in the NHL? I don't

With the look on Torts' face during last night's game I'd say he either fired Chuck himself or turned in his resignation.

The only announcement I want to hear from the Flyers is that the team is up for sale.

The only thing moving in Philadelphia is money from the pockets of the easily gullible into the pockets of CominternCast.

Beware the Ides of March. Shuffling the deck with the same clowns in place won’t do anything.

I can give you an answer. Frost is a top 9 NHL scoring forward with an upside for the top 6. He is in his 2nd full NHL season and is still developing as a player.

I want Clarke’s job….golfing every day in Florida sounds like a pretty good gig from where I sit.

A pivot point is nearing for the organization. We'll see if it is status quo or more of the same. The senior advisors have to go. President of Hockey Operations will be a very important hire.

The problem is that he is probably still getting calls every day from the nitwits at Comcast that know nothing about hockey.

That probably isn't a bad assessment as of now. I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but his physicality worries me going forward. Did you happen to see that faceoff he took at the end of the game against Staal? Staal just man handled off the puck to win that faceoff. He has to get stronger!
