gotta say, most aren't wrong. their GM sat on his hands and he had enough assets to make a move or two to show a young team a bit of confidence. getting a real goalie would have helped. they have been running out the corpse of Anderson, the hope of Ukka and the illusion of Comrie all season.

The only excuse is if he sees the team is ahead of schedule and doesn't want to fast-track things... But I'm sure they could have got a goalie for cheap

they may be but give em a boost. he has 3 2nd round picks and a slew of forward prospects already. they need a d-man, too. there were players out there with some term so it wouldn't have been using assets for a rental.

hell, reimer would have been an upgrade.

Sure was for us ... our AHL lineup brought another playoff team to the shoot out.

We got only one point which helps for the draft rankings while keeping the boy's morale up while they learn what it is to play in the "show".

couple of near misses costing time but no full blown he is gone for four months tear yet. thankfully. (frank)ing stalock has been playing out of his mind when healthy. we can't have that
