I didn't realize the Reading Royals were the Flyers affiliate until I saw the patches on their shoulders when they first came out in ice... And... I had no idea the ECHL is doing 7 mins of 3 on 3 OT...kinda weird |

I left the house towards the end of the 2nd period of Pens game... Pens were starting to feel it, turn it up and take over...however, I checked socre at Growlers game and it was still 2-1 half way through 3rd...was surprised to see 5-1 final... I have it recorded, gonna check it now. |

There's something to be said about being able to fast forward through commercial breaks.... Anyway... DeSmith was unreal on those two PKs in the 3rd to keep it 2-1, might even be a save of the year candidate in the first one.. He rebounded nicely after that bad first goal. |

Pleasantly surprised by the line-up choices. Second line from Nylander had a strong possession and a goal. Even if he didn't flash today, didn't look bad either and they actually got to lengthen the line-up.
Third line was a real star eating the tough assignments and getting 2 goals. Again glad to see DOC there over Heinen today.
Fourth line wasn't that good but at least got sheltered.
Don't know if that has a permanent change or just a reflection of the available players and moving Carter to 4C but hope this is something Sully is willing to give a chance to |

I was really worried after that first one, but he had a great game after. |

All the lines played well together. Arch- Carter is a good fit and will produce in the playoffs around the net. There were some plays by the bigger names that take up a lot of salary that could be cleaned up quite a bit, and it’s nice to see Rakell doing his job again. |
