What a lazy dumb penalty by Panarin. No attempt at the puck, just tripped him for no reason. Inexcusable

Their situational awareness and puck management in OT is terrible.
1) Start Trochek as our best FO guy to give us the best chance at possession. Other teams do it all the time. The Pens dld it with Carter. Luckily Zib won the FO.
2) When they bring the puck out of the zone to regroup, they almost always bring it back too far and let the other team change. That's why Malkin was so quick to close on Panarin. Again, other teams do this to us and we get pinned in on long shifts.

Have to win the 2 games next week or the wildcard is a real possibility

Happy getting 5 of 6 pts on road trip. Not happy with how the team thinks just showing up for the 3rd period is a strategy for the success. It's the time of the year when the playoff teams seem to take the foot off the pedal see Boston/ Detroit. Hope when 55 comes back things look different.

Got our point all they needed. Showed up for 1 period which has been the norm lately.

We are fine Pens needed a reg win tdy to make it interesting. Pens are old and slow they fall asleep in 3rd period of games. Heck Malkin got so tired he played on the ice and took a nap during play

Third period and fourth line were the best by far for Rangers today. Not even a question

Putting Kane with Kreider and Trocheck made a big difference. That line was great in the 3rd

The lack of speed in the lineup is concerning, same with Fox's play lately

Im not so much worried about the lack of speed as I am that they refuse to learn from their mistakes with sloppy passes, poor decisions and terrible play in center ice.

Too many players line Kane panarin tarasenko kakko. All same style of east west play. The only way they get better if gallant can find the right line combos.

The defensive zone exits and neutral zone play are bad. No speed or clean passes. Right now the devils would sweep them no question.

Rangers are in a different spot than all of these teams they’re playing. Definitely not as desperate. It’s human nature to relax a bit in the regular season with it being the case. They’re not gonna win the division and home ice isn’t a back breaker, especially NJ. And we didn’t have it vs the canes and beat them. We should trust last year showed us that they can kick it up a notch when the time comes

This is just general comment in that I saw nothing of todays game. I’m not living or dying with theses games tho. They’re amassing enough pts to be safe from anything overly tedious. Just really looking to stay healthy for rd 1 game 1.

I gather from jimmys text and some comments, the 3rd period was maybe something they can build on. Gallant mentioned it too. Didn’t seem overly thrilled with many guys before the 3rd period

I just read these comments and people need to relax a bit. Jmo, not looking to fight haha

They matter though, if the rangers lose to the pens next week again they have a real shot to pass us in the standings and push us to the wildcard

Wow don’t think KK belongs with them. One of the best on the team on boards down low in the o zone
