Meh.
We are starting to sound like that rangers fan a little bit. Take out all the good prospects, but want to make a splash trade. - ImThatGuy
don't you (frank)ing dare compare us to that troglodyte.
Nadeau has a rare play style for this organization. Don't think it would be wise to ship him away. I'm open to trading one of the soft skilled guys, as we have more than enough.

Wasnt directed at you but the overall notion is we can’t trade:
Savoie
Kulich
Ostlund
Rosen
Nadeau
Johnson
If the right player came along I’m trading any one of them.
I’m not sure who that right player is though. - ImThatGuy
Of course.
Adams made it known that players of Chychrun's talent/age/contract are not good enough to warrant sending out Kulich or Savoie though.
Question becomes, how many players are available better than player's of Chychrun's skill, age and contract, that the Sabres would need enough to ship out one of our best prospects? |

I know buddy, I know. We'll ride this train together, and we'll go pick up Kaedan Korczak on the way.

Be a nice young and ready addition Korczak, Vegas is one team that has a lot of D. |

What can I say Nadeau has been high on my list for awhile now. Sabres could use a couple more in there system. |

Chychrun's contract was not a benefit to Buffalo. We are far under the cap and will be by the time his contract ends. We need a guy like him and his contract in 3 years. It's why it was wise to wait. We can make that move when we are a playoff threat to win, not just squeeze in. |

Yeah, see what happens. Gonna be interesting to see what LB's they target or a more athletic DE who can be Miller on the otherside. |

Why wasn't it a benefit to Buffalo. Why worry about 3yr years away. Geez Johnson could come in and be good and by that time maybe Samuelsson becomes a Trade chip and you keep Chychrun or he becomes a trade chip. |

My guess is UPL against Washington and then back to Andy for Philly. I would rotate them every other game for the rest of the season. - lacaprup
Hey Paul!
You still around? I can barely see you in the rear view. Big RW last night. |

People need to remember to, if they Sabres do make a trade for a good player or 2. Depending on contracts the Sabres will need good players on ELC's in 3 to 4yrs to balance the Cap out. - Buff36
Having Cozens and Thompson locked up to team friendly deals will help that a lot. They might need one or two depth guys making closer to the vet minimum but they are set up pretty nicely, all what really matters is Dahlin's next contract.

i know you like him. could be another good idea. i do wonder how much carolina has been a crutch to his defensive acumen.

Another quality option:

Maybe Aaron can comment but I'm pretty sure those fans don't like him very much. I'd have to go back to the blog where he was traded. It seems like he had a pretty strong defensive career in Toronto. |

Fast and Staal would make up 2/3 of an excellent bottom 6 line that would cause hell for the opponent. |
