So it's 2024-25 Season Give me your Roster purely on Draft Picks or current roster players:
Skinner Tage Tuch
Kulich Cozens Quinn
JJ Krebs Savoie
Nadeau Jost Rousek
Ostlund has 2yrs left on his contract, I would expect him at 3C and drop Krebs to 4C at the proper time
Samuelsson Dahlin Goalies: Levi, UPL
Power Reinbacher
Johnson Joker - Buff36
There better be a few older Offensive minded FA signings on this team. Pat Kane, Corey Perry type players. Now is the time to Murray the team...

Sabres have a lot of forward prospects, and a very young team already. They really don't have a lot of open spots. Adams can definitely use the that to fill other needs. They really need to address there D depth throughout there system. |

$3m cheap? Good riddance - TheHank
Doubt he gets $3M here or anywhere else. 2x2 or 2mx1yr is fine though. |

I really think now is the time to trade some of the prospect and picks away, we are right on the cusp of greatness. Goalie and top 4 D, and we are a dominate team.
Got to use some of the Murrancy and Murray this team in the summer....

Flyers fan buddy was asking me if I'd do hart and provorov for 1st. savoie, quinn? and another poop picks or something?
Not sure I'd say no. I don't think KA would say yes, but I might if you catch me on the right night. Maybe I'd try and wiggle into ostlund from either savoie or quinn but I think it addresses our needs and theirs from a position of strength of ours. Would probably also not want to give up this years first if possible and if there was a way to get konecny in there I'd be pleased with that. Potentially giving up this years first if he was added. |

For clarity, is the potential deal Hart and Provorov for the 23 1st, Savoie, and Quinn? |

Savoie and Quinn are untouchables in 99% of trade convos.
That .01% is the McDavids of the world and Edmonton isn’t taking offers on him. |

They waved it early when the Sens d man buried the Avs player a few strides in the Avs blue line when he was trying to play the puck. Which is the correct call.
Dunno why they didn’t blow the whistle though. - Stripes77
Yes, I’ve since seen a better replay than I saw at first. I thought puck went straight to the goalie, not off back boards and then to the goalie. Why didn’t the goalie just hold on to the puck until the whistle finally was blown is all I’m wondering. Strange play. |

a cool part about drafting well is that you can trade complimentary players for more suitable complimentary players that are worth more than the draft picks than you acquired those complimentary players for.

feel like ive beaten this one to death.
Guys like and specifically Savoie and Kulich won't be traded for anyone publicly on the market.
Let's all keep in mind that Chychrun is not good enough to be swapped for Kulich nor Savoie.
Who else at the TDL was a better overall fit for this team?
Talent + Position + Term + Cap was below the requirement.
My guess, if those guys are shipped out, you get someone like.. oh I dunno... Adam Fox or Matt Tkachuk. Which you won't. So the convo is moot. |

That it is. I'd probably make an effort to make that a 24 1st overall. Briere has some extra time as he's just starting this rebuild anyways.
My thoughts are Hart can be a workhorse goalie and give the team a chance to win nightly. |

i dont think I am ready to give away Quinn and Savoie,
I love the idea if getting Hart even for a few years until levi is ready and Provorov would be a solid Top 4 guy for us.

So you would trade all that for 2yrs and 6.75m of Provorov and a ? Goalie but people say trading that for 2yrs of Chychrun at 4.7m who is the better player was a bad idea. Interesting |

While there's no doubt that 22-23 John Tortorella coached Carter Hart would have the Sabres in the playoffs, the long term impact of June's 1st, Matt Savoie and Jack Quinn will provide a significantly larger positive impact for the Sabres than those two on a yearly basis.
That's even if that 1st is Jack Skille. |

I don't even like Korps that much but I'm taking him 10/10 over what Hart costs in supposed assets.
Freddie Andersen 23-24 thanks
