I heard we sucked all week and Levi thinks he’s better than Comrie and UPL. I’m fine if Levi thinks this. But I highly highly doubt he is any good from college to the NHL right away. Takes time to adjust

It hasn't been the players' fault since Jack left. The only failures here are roster construction and organizational priorities.

Kinda sucks we traded away that 2nd for Greenway, might have been able to get that big Bulldozer Simashev there.

Obviously Gerbe isn't conveying what he exactly means. And OBVIOUSLY, the plan has been discussed with all parties. Probably the biggest talking point prior to him signing.

OK, this is what we envision for you...

At his age Pat Roy was already in the NHL. Just because no has done it doesn't mean it can't be done. If Levi's great maybe he can swim in the NHL. If not, he goes to Rochester and develops like any other goalie.

It's a gamble but if they think Levi is ready it's like a QB on a rookie contract. Gives them 5-6 million they aren't spending on a goalie to sign someone else and go for it. This is a big off-season for KA. He's going to make one big move

Until proven otherwise with everything that's happened until Adams brings in another goalie the plan is to see how Levi grows and develops and takes the crease. Adams has proven NOTHING other than he won't block Levi.

Also, remember UPL loses his waiver exemption next season. Just another piece of the puzzle.

If you bring in a proven G, right back into an awkward situation if/when Levi looks ready.
