Blizzard seems to have bought in the pay-2-play poop you normally see for mobile games, which is completely ruining the experience for me.

When you buy the complete set prior to release, you get a deal on all dlcs and are auto downloaded once available. Buying the dlcs separately after they are available will be more expensive in the long run

and since those are pre-purchase prices, I'm guessing it gets even more expensive for a regular post-release purchase?

All the companies do that now. EA is awful for that too

how about giving me the whole (frank)ing game, after I've paid 100 bucks for it?? normally I'd find a pirated version but it's getting harder and harder to play games for free that way, especially since they're all based online.

so the Rocket just lost 3-2 against the Comets (space-themed game tonight). too bad they didn't have Harvey-Pinard, Ylonen, Belzile, Richard and Drouin to help them out...

Well they should, but unfortunately the market is willing to pay for post release additions. Especially kids who have access to mommy and daddy's credit card.

I guess it's sadly unsurprising though that triple-A game developers have made these completely profit-driven decisions. now you have to look for smaller indie companies to get actual good games that are decently priced.

concerning Drouin, MSL said the consequence was that he couldn't take part in practice, he hasn't officially confirmed he won't be playing tomorrow... they might be too short-staffed to bench him anyway lol.
