Luke looks unstoppable tonight, this is awesome. So happy they got placed into the Allentown bracket, been a lot of fun watching him in person. |

I don't really understand what 11/7 gives you as a team. It's not like that 7th player you're dressing is a specialist in anything that particularly matters Bahl is just a better player than Smith at this point. And all of this comes at the cost of the line depth during the game which doesn't make it worth it. Boqvist should just be playing this game. |

I know it was a feel good story that everyone went from Fire Ruff to Thank You Lindy, but if NJ wants to take the next step then the coaching position needs an upgrade. They need someone who can get the most out of these kids and play the appropriate talent from the roster consistently. It’s one thing if someone is getting benched to learn a lesson but that is rarely if ever the case here. I hope they consider some other options this offseason. |

Ruff was the guy behind the bench in a season that we're probably getting 110pts. He's not going anywhere, for better or worse. Wood-McLeod-Boqvist/Foote would've been fine. Idk. Maybe they needed rest? Maybe he doesn't want Smith to get too rusty? idk. |

He’s a good starter coach I guess if you look at Buffalo, but he had prime Vezina Ryan Miller and couldn’t seal the deal. Granted, yes, coach is only part of the equation. Buffalo may be cursed is another part, too, lol. He’s seen the Finals as part of multiple staffs, which is great and he’s had success.
Like Sutter, he makes some weird fundamental boneheaded decisions with the roster, and I don’t see him taking the team to the next level and something is lacking. Just my opinion. I’m not over here saying he’s Maclean. Right now he’ll probe his longterm viability in part depending on what happens in the playoffs. I’m fine with them giving him next year to evaluate. But after that, you have to capitalize on the wealth of young talent on this team before they start to bail and establish playoff consistency and hopefully a deep run or two. Other than goaltending, there’s plenty of talent on the roster to make the playoffs in spite of it.
I’d have to say after this season with the stud kids on display a lot of coaches would want a chance to coach this team.

Agreed. If we don’t get further in the playoffs next year compared to this year then I’d be done with him.
It’s great we got that win last night. The boys needed some reward and positive juices. |
