All those important stats and the Canucks are the bottom 10 of the league, again. - Reubenkincade

It’s easier to fail than succeed and yes things can be bleak with the results.
So the foundation of EP40, QH, Demko cannot be built on?
Hronek and Kuzmeko not an improvement? JTM production not good?
The changes to system and coaching with more adds has no chance? - Quinn's Quest
No, because I have no faith that this management group is competent enough to pull off a quick 2 year turn around. We were sold these bill of goods before from Benning after FA spit in Linden's face and told him to GFY when he said that the team needed to rebuild from the ground up and what we've gotten since then is absolute garbage. Whatever trust and faith people might have had in JR/PA was immediately shat on when they tried to trade JTM last TDL, failed, then signed him for 8/8 and then Boeser for 6/6.75. Not satisfied with screwing themselves financially for years to come with a 30+ year old that had a career year for 8 years and a broken winger that has never scored more than 20 goals a season, they had no money to resign their captain who's been with them through thick and thin and was having a much better year than Mr. Alpha JTM himself did the year before and traded him for what we THOUGHT was an incredible haul of Beauvillier (who's recaptured his scoring touch thankfully here), a semi-decent center prospect/project in Raty and a protected '23 1st round pick. Then they turn around and trade that 1st round pick for Hronek, making it clear they think this core which has failed time and time again, is a playoff team. That's not even getting into the whole Boudreau mess that made us the laughing stock of the NHL and turned Bruce Boudreau into a folk hero.
So yeah, great, we have individual pieces that are good. The problem is, they're INDIVIDUALS and not a team, they don't really play hard unless there's no pressure on them and the games don't matter, they still rely on goaltending to bail their defensive woes out and they refuse to battle for each other. It's even MORE apparent now that Schenn is gone. But sure, feel free to believe that this is a core that can win, most of us know they won't or if they do it'll only be winning pointless games like now where the schedule is soft and they don't have to worry about anything and can pad their stats and look better than they are. Other than maybe EP40, I don't see a player on that team that I consider a 'winner', and I'm seriously afraid and almost sure that EP40 isn't going to resign in order to go someplace without the baggage we have. |

I saw a lot of good things tonight from a positive point of view, some here can dwell in their negativity it’s not good for the mental health, the power of positivity rings true try it someday. - Bettmanhatesus
Agreed.
One thing the Knights do well is anticipate and pressure. On d to d passes, they read the play, and when they know its going across they start rushing the open D. Gave us almost no time.

Wahhhhh 😢😢😢😢😢 signing Miller over Bo was a brilliant decision. Luck or intentional it was the correct decision. Bo has one point in march and makes more than JT lol. Your tears are fantastic |

Sure, if you like petulant, goal sucking Alphas who quit on plays and yell at teammates for his own mistakes then whatever floats your boat Don. |

Just look at the stats between JTM & Horvat since the trade. Keeping Bo would have been another epic Loui Eriksson type failure. Good riddance.

Haven’t seen Miller yell at a teammate once since Tocchet took over. Many players have been speaking out about his leadership recently as well. Watch the games you sad, sad man |

I’m not a JTM fan but I support dumping Bo. Resigning Bo at his asking price would have been a disaster. Completely agree. |
