7-2 who had that? - Nighthawk
I don't think anyone did, but one of the more intelligent commenters did have this,
quote=Reubenkincade]Another big game tonight.
6-2 Canucks
Podkolzin, Myers, Joshua, Garland, Miller and Burroughs with the goals.

Hmm nice ideas. We’ll see. It’s always does the other team want what we’re offering.
Right now it’s all about will Canucks get a lotto ticket to 1st or 2nd? - Quinn's Quest
Better than a good chance of lotto tics for 1st or 2nd at worst 3rd. |

Sticking up for teammates, what a novel idea? - VanHockeyGuy
Not good. It's conceit. Not toughness.

BTW….my 90 point prediction for EP40 came true, still a chance to hit 100. - LeftCoaster
A couple days ago someone replied to a comment I left on a TSN video 2 years ago, where I said EP40 was underrated and had 100 point potential. I had forgotten posting it, but it was nice to see |

Leonard is a right winger. Some have higher floor, others have MUCH higher ceilings. |

Juulsen out 4 weeks, ankle injury. Wolanin injured. Not sure if Brisebois is injured or healthy scratched right now.
Whatever happened to Poolman and Dermott practicing.
Leaves 2 spots open for rookie D to sign and play now. |

Trade down…
https://www.capfriendly.c.../armchair-gm/team/4071362 - Nighthawk
Signing Gavrikov?? yikes - great player, but not realistic, given our cap.
I'd like to see zero free-agent signings. Any changes should be through trades - ideally player for player. But mainly, addition by subtraction and internal promotion.
The management has done a great job of putting together cheap, valuable support pieces, ex. Dries, Joshua, Aman, Wolanin, Juulson, Bear, Brisebois, Burroughs, PDG. The internal competition for these roles is stronger than ever. In the past, these opportunities were rarely given or most importantly, seized.
The prospect pool isn't as dire as some say, while these guys aren't going to EP-level game-changers, some solid pieces are developing (slowly) - the right way in Abby/beyond in McDonough, Karlsson, Hoglander, Klimavich, Bains, Johansson, Rathbone, Pettersson 2.0, Truscott, Jurmo.
The real work is finding ways to jettison: Pearson, Garland, Myers, OEL, Dermott, Poolman. |

Leonard might be listed as a center but Smith has been his center for the entire year on all teams.
Some of those players are much older than others. Different styles of play. Some more ready.
Danielson was only 11 days from being in last years draft. Dvorsky is a June bday. 9 months apart. |

My preference would be any of those 3. Yager would also be a nice pick.
I agree with Mini, Leonard is more of a winger, but plays a nice solid style. |

I don't know if you have been to the 2023 forum. On the bottom of the first page is a good explanation of potential of prospects. It is 2 months old but still not a lot has changed I don't think.
@10 Out of your list Yager or Dvorsky I think would be pretty good.
I'm not as high as some on Danielson that early. |
