The trade down has been the constant talk of drafts where we don’t like what’s available. So why would there be an offer trade on that? It’s usually make the pick or trade the pick for a player. But hey if they can make a trade down happen why not.

I think the trade down is a great ideal. Instead of having a player at the 12 th spot that they have no interest in, they can add a second player that they have no interest in at a lower pick.

Adding near NHL ready LD and RD players to develop can help the depth. They both seem to have good upside.

It wasn't a comment aimed at anyone. I think the whole trade down in the top round is joke. I can see it in the fifth round.

If you can't find a player at #12 that will impact even in a small way to your team then IMO this draft is not as strong as people claim outside the top five.

I keep thinking there needs to be someone there or you are looking at another Lickermaki guy which is redundant. This is why I think they will pull an Uncle Lou and trade it.
