I doubt it, he was desperate to win after so many years of losing. Last couple years he was trading draft picks like crazy. - LeftCoaster
This management decided his team was good enough for the playoffs.

He won't win either but he's on the radar now. He definatelty deserves to be up there. Guy has Datsyuk written all over him. He's an absolute superstar - Jkuzzi

Stopped caring after that pick was traded.
I guess this is also one of your 20 teams that are doing it right...

It just means they made a good choice trading it for a 25 year old right shot dman, so I like it more now. Philadelphia tanking, and Arizona tanking, itās like Christmas! |

Yes, at the beginning of the year I believe they thought that, much like Benning kept thinking that and failing. The difference for me is this group recognized the were wrong and will make changesā¦.at least thatās my hope. Trading Horvat was a good start. |

Minnesota is aggressive on the PK, giving the Avs all they can handle. |

What do the Canucks have in newly-sign Akito Hirose?
ā¢ Highly intelligent defender who makes calculated decisions all over the ice
ā¢ Average speed and shot
ā¢ Burgeoning defensive game with some snarl
ā¢ The big question is whether he can be effective with his slight frame? |

Seems like an intelligent dude. Liking him already just work on the weights & details & heāll get his shot. |
