Last night was the first time I wanted Martin to be a dirty piece of sh!t and just continue to pummel Accairi while he turtled like the biotch he is. That was a bad hit and deserved much worse then he got |

I kind of like it. There are a lot of funny posts. You just have to be able to weed out the nonsense and not take it too seriously. - JimmyP
Yeah I was always just an observer on there but between my job and other reasons thought it was in my best interest to stay away after being on it for a while. Never got off of it because I was offended by what some idiot posted on there. That was part of its charm to me. |

100% with you on that. The entire crowd wanted him too. People were booing when he didn’t. |

The TSN announcers were puzzled by the fight and didn't even realize it was in response to the hit on Nelson. When it dawned on one of them that Acciari was the player who hit Nelson, the other one countered, "Yeah, but that was a long time ago" |

I doubted this team when Barzal went down and was thankfully proved wrong on that. I have a feeling we won’t be seeing Nelson for a while. Hopefully the team proves me wrong with how I’m feeling about that right now. |

ESPN is so bad it makes you wonder if they are bad on purpose. Nobody could be that inept right? Well I guess there are some other current examples of that… |

I thought Acari could fight. Explains why the bruins let him go. B’s like guys that can play hockey, are tough, and not afraid to drop the gloves. Not surprised he’s a leaf now, lol. |

On a different note. Growing up I have always argued that Mike Bossy was best 'pure' goal scorer ever to play the game. After watching Ovi all of these years, I may now have to give that honor to him.
In no way is this any disrespect to my childhood idol 'Bossy', Ovi is just that good!!! - Nfdbulldawg
Pure goal scorer to me always sounds like it's defining someone who could only score goals, which isn't exactly a compliment. Still for my money, Mario was the most prolific goal scorer I ever saw. The pace at which that guy scored during the clutch and grab era of the NHL was insane. |

They're Canadian. They just figured a good 'sorry' should do it |

It really is crazy when you think about it. They lose Barzal and Horvat hasn't scored a goal in like 10 games and then they lose Nelson early last night and they still pound the Leafs. If they can get Barzal back before the playoffs and Nelson isn't out to long this spring could get interesting |

Mike Johnson is the worst. I like Gord Miller but Johnson is such a homer its embarrassing. Still a much better production then ESPN. How was that crew last night? |

Yeah I wasn't expecting him to turtle like that. Maybe Holmstrom should have beaten him up |

AJ was color commentator last night on ESPN. I think she always does a good job. |

It's like Martin just said to him, look I gotta do this, just take a knee and I won't hurt you.
The espn call last night wasn't that bad but they did have AJ doing so that helped. |

He can, but Martin is way out of his weight class and he's 5'10" to Martin's 6'3"
Martin would have shattered his entire face |

These days I'm forced to watch whatever broadcast is chosen for whichever dodgy feed I can find, so, TSN was all I had last night. |

I will take Canadian feeds over any national US broadcast any day of the week |
