No urgency. Extra skater and couldn't keep the puck in the offensive zone. - JimmyP
For the past two nights.
Shut out today by a goalie I never even heard of. |

The Sabres were faster and won most of the puck battles. Isles had no jump. |

It seemed totally appropriate that Mayfield turns the puck over and then combines with Bailey to fail picking up Okposo on the goal.
Mayfield is all heart, no brains. That's two games in a row that a Mayfield turnover led to a loss |

Mayfield has had a real bad season. Totally fine letting him walk and I’ve always been a fan. They should absolutely not resign the guy. |

I have to agree...I have always been a fan of his but this year has not been kind to him...Not signing him for the rate that he will be at.

Man the pens winning sucks but when you get 1 point off the worst team in the league and get shut out by buffalo they deserve to be in the position they are. Tough cause two wins there really put them in control |

Rooting for the Rangers and Leafs at different intervals down the stretch here has been exceedingly painful. Couple that with the constant “do it on your own” from my Ranger fan friends has made me wish we were challenging for Bedard rather then a WC spot. - Cptmjl
Regardless of what happens Bedard would have been franchise changing. Knowing our luck he's going to Columbus with gadreau and Johnston |

100% that’s why I had the mind set I had when the season was slipping away. I say that while acknowledging we would’ve had a small chance of getting him if we sold what we could have at the TDL but it was worth taking that chance imo. |

Yup, I've had similar thoughts after watching the Isles lose back to back games against the BJs and Sabres. How do they turn up the effort against the Leafs, but then turn it back down against the weaker teams? They look like a playoff team against the Leafs, then look old and slow against the BJs and Sabres. But I really want the team to make the playoffs, because, among other reasons, I like the owners who have invested a lot of money in the team and deserve to recoup some of it. |

Yeah we’re here now so I’m with you on that. Lameriello made the decision to go for it. I didn’t/don’t agree with it but I of course hope we get in and watch some entertaining games at the very least. |

Islanders win and they will be tough to play against in the POs. They lose and we should have tanked for Bedard.
