Islanders win and they will be tough to play against in the POs. They lose and we should have tanked for Bedard.

Since Barzal has gone down Lambert has relied heavily on a handful of players and to me last night they looked tired. |

Old, slow and tired. On that we can agree.
What is your opinion of Horvat's play? Gripping his stick too hard? |

He was asked to play 22 minutes a night in all situations as a center which involves the most skating of any position. That's a ton of ice, mcdavid is around 17:50 per game. The top 62 ice time leaders are all defenseman and then its MacKinnon for reference. They really over loaded horvat for a 10 game stretch |

I agree but the guy needs to find a way to start scoring again. If he doesn’t I think there’s a good chance we won’t make it in. Also, for gods sake Lambert leave Bailey out of the lineup. |

Now that Pageau is back, hopefully that is over. Horvat, Nelson, Pageau, and Cizikas should all be getting relatively similar ice time, since the Isles generally roll 4 lines when everyone's healthy. PK and PP time may vary a bit from game to game of course. |

Yes he needs to score gotta hope he pops one and gets hot. Bailey should be done for the year imo, he's a vet but it seems like the wheels have completely fallen off or he has 0 confidence |

Pageau is a huge addition for d zone draws as well as pk duty and relieves horvat in certain situations |

Yes 100% old like the Boston Bruins and Bolts
Horvat is definitely gripping his stick especially with Barzal down. Most of the time trying too hard doesn’t get you the results you want. Just play your game and don’t try to do everyone else’s job. He’s getting chances but they’re not going in. When we were winning it wasn’t that big a deal however we need him to score at this point. I think he needs an ugly one and then the dam will break for him. |

They haven’t rolled 4 lines lately. Lambert has relied on his top guys going down the streatch here. Especially in 3rd periods. |

Horvat might be squeezing the stick too hard right now. Hopefully he breaks out Monday. As for Bailey, make him the special adviser to the adviser. Just do not let him back on the ice. Screwin with the mojo.

Listen, I can admit when I am wrong. He has been the most consistent and best producer all season.
In my defense however, I thought he was our most tradable asset without giving up draft picks and prospects. |

Bailey has looked really bad in the past couple games.
He needs to sit. Holmie is more effective at this point imho. |

Not so underrated and sneaky good that he wasn't selected for the all-star team.

Um once again I don’t see any criticism. I see people pointing out the guy hasn’t scored in a while and is in a slump. Not sure where you found criticism in people pointing out that fact. |
