60/40 in favor of canes. The canes team always are analytic darlings bc they suppress so many shots against and take a ton on offense. Their entire system is around puck possession

Not perfect but two points. Lousy first and poor start to second. Flipped switch as second wore on and much better in third. Bottle those last 20 minutes and find a way to repeat it

That’s a playoff win right there. Very much reminded me of the playoffs last year. That’s where they have the canes number. The Canes are the darling of analytics, and tonight showed what it gets you if you can’t score. Canes are beatable because they can’t score in crunch time, or score consistently. They score on errors by the other team, if you limit mistakes you can beat them. They get a ton of easy shots on net so it’s all bloated how good they are with the puck. If anything they tire themselves out early in the game. Rangers played very hard tonight, one of the best efforts of the season. Not necessarily best looking game on the eyes.

Kane🤷🏻‍♂️he’s still not there imo. It’ll come. St Louis struggled early, but came alive in the run when they traded for him
