Really? Peterka has shown skill, Krebs mainly that he's a (needed)psycho and some jam, but I haven't seen the speed or skill that Peterka has shown.

They have very different skill sets. Once they found him a role, Krebs has been a consistent contributor. JJ was put in a great spot, but has been very inconsistent. Both look like 3rd liners to me, with more talent coming up to challenge for spots.

Peterka still has just 150 NA games played, Krebs has already played 126 in the NHL and is a year older

Krebs has 2 goals and 9 points in the last 25 games since he started to see an increase in usage (I might be a game or two off)

He’s produced like a good 4C.

I don’t see any reason to call it anything more than that yet.

I do think he has good 3C potential

Zemgus Girgensons is inverse Jeff Skinner though.

As good as Zemgus is defensively, there aren’t many forwards that drive less offence than he does.

9 points in 25 games works out to 30 even strength points over 82 games which isnt quite bad all things considered.

Quinn is on pace for 35 even strength points this year. Peterka is on pace for 30 himself.

Where would Krebs be if he rode top 6 wing for a majority of the season ?

I don’t think that much better. A little better, sure.

I know his PP time has been mainly PP2 and it’s been on and off but he’s got 2 points in 62 min

That’s 31 full power plays and he produced two points.

That’s 1.79 points per 60

For comparisons sake Thompson is at 7.89 points per 60 on the PP.

I just don’t see this offensive dynamo

I think this is insinuating I’m calling him a bad player. Im not. He’s probably our future 3C who could maybe move up in the top 6 at times. He’s also got a lot of qualities a playoff performer typically has.

But let’s be real, he’s absolutely never scoring 30 goals or 90 points. He just ain’t that good
