Now that the rangers are pretty much fully locked into the 3 seed with the loss last night, don’t even think about bringing Lindgren back till the playoffs. They need him if they want to advance - TPC
I think ideally you'd like him to play a bit before the playoffs, maybe like last two games vs Buffalo and Toronto
I remember in 2014 Ryan McDonagh was hurt for a bit at end of season, missed like 2 weeks, and then jumped right into first playoff game against Flyers and he was a little shaky that whole series compared to his normal play |

especially on the road when the Devils control the matchup and can put Hughes out there against him whenever they want
this is where they really miss Lindgren - jimbro83
Another reason to try to get home ice. |

The charts don't seem to have any bonus points for Schneider for blocking a shot with his goalie out of position or clearing away a tap in goal from the crease.
I'm not saying he didn't have some struggles, but without those plays it's not even a game. - Tonybere
You're not wrong and on the goal, it wasn't really his fault. But in his limited minutes away from Harpur he still struggled, that is why he was the lowest GS. His SC against, FFRel, and his HDSC relative was the worst. |

I also think Mikkola and Schneider need most of these remaining games together. Them being reunited right before the playoffs doesn’t sit well with me. |

Nothing about that loss says we can’t beat NJ in a series. Was a good hard fought game. Both goalies were very good. I feel like the rangers ran out of time and woulda tied it eventually. They came alive as they game wore on. I will say, the first period starts need to be better against the better teams tho, It’s become a bit of a habit
I do think we match up better vs Canes if I had to pick one. Devils speed and they can score with us is definitely worrisome. It could be Canes in rd 1, they are having a tough time scoring |

Rangers only redeeming stat last night is that they more high danger scoring chances in the 3rd period. Everything else was all Devils. That's not good. |

we are all cranky about the loss last night and this ass face takes joy in coming here, sticking a knife in and twisting it
somebody should learn how to read a room
or maybe he does know how to read the room and is just sadistic

The devils only created offense off the rush. They had a lot of possession time but chances were pretty even. Rangers have to do a better time getting it deep with sustained pressure. Devils defense isn’t great |

I only go by NST and MP. MP had it more even. NST had a wider gap, if you don't mind, what site do you use? I'm actually interested. The more resources, the better. |

Either that or a trade with retained salary, no sweeteners. That deal was never going to age well and, well...it hasn't. Dude just looks disinterested. But he can't be here next year. |

Most of the devils shots were routine stops. Bad first period but after that thought it was a pretty even game. I don't really care who the rangers play in the playoffs , it's going to be tough. |

Are you actually interested or is this a passive way of calling out someones ability to watch a game and gather their own thoughts on what they watched? |

For scoring chances, csa. 27-22 in favor of devils. Expected goals 2.89 vs 2.94 in favor nj. Pretty close in that respect.

Through the eye test is pretty clear the rangers 1st was bad. Devils had a lot of possession not a ton of great chances. Thought the 2nd and 3rd was uneventful. Last few minutes the rangers had some good chances. Rangers have another gear come playoff time.
It also felt like 90% of the chances were against Harpur. Need Lindgren back bad |
