How the heck are the flyers going to rebuild this defense? As good as this draft is for forwards...not so much for D. They had a stud RHD sitting in their laps last draft and passed him up. Do you guys think provy or Tk can fetch a blue chip stud?

I personally don't think they're going to trade Konecny but who knows. I think they're going to trade Provorov and could get a 1st round pick or a good prospect or maybe both. I just don't see a rebuilding team being interested in Provorov to get a high first round pick. One of the biggest problems with this franchise has been the failure to draft and develop defenseman. Especially RH defenseman. Constantly having to trade or overpay in free agency for defenseman. I'm also concerned about what a trade of Provorov could mean to other players. Provorov would be a better player today in my opinion if he didn't have such a heavy load as a young player.

I was a huge Provorov fan when he was drafted, unfortunately the team stunted his growth. He'd still be a good 2nd pair guy on most teams I believe. Going to be some big minutes to replace if they trade him. The D might get worse before it gets better.

right, next time we may be there though is when york is 26. i would rather keep provie over sanhiem, but think sanhiem would be harder to move. and with the rumors provie ask to be traded...he and hayes are the two out this summer. maybe hart, maybe one other.
