You post in broken English such as "no he is" on the other page and you're going to tell someone that they need a grammar lesson. Look at your grammar in what you posted above.

I totally agree. There is just this continuing narrative that Frost only scores against the week teams while Tippett lights up the top teams. I don't know why there has to be a constant comparison. I really like both players and think that both have a bright future. - MJL

Bring in Torts type of veterans. What could go wrong. I await the day when some realize that building or molding a team in Tortorella's vision is a huge mistake. Hopefully, Briere has more sense. - MJL
Just what Torts are you talking about? I see a coach who is not afraid to bench a vet, has said all year long we must rebuild and has shown a commitment to bringing young players up properly and giving them a chance to contribute. That’s exactly what you and the rest of us have been asking for from a flyers coach for years. He’s the one guy that has said from the jump that this team must rebuild and do it the RIGHT way. This year his actions have proven his commitment to a youth movement.
He also has lead this org down a path that all of us have been begging for. He’s actually the progressive here. Where’s the problem?
Yes, the know nothing Columbus “hockey” media did not like to be called out when they asked nonsense questions and yes he wants his players to play the right way (see Frosts blocked shot the other night which then lead to a goal).
Are we that hypersensitive that his “tough” talk disqualifies him from coaching our team?
I pay my money and want a guy that’s gonna have the guts to stick up to his bosses and tell it like it is which he has done all year long and is probably the number one reason why Fletcher and Scott are gone. You should be thanking him.
The more I think about it the more I’ve come to the realization that he is the exact coach you and the rest of us were asking for.
Where’s the problem?
Plez don’t give me some nonsense about running an archaic system. Give him the horses and he will implement a more brindy style puck pursuit strategy. Besides, it’s the execution that’s important and this guy has been working with a skeleton crew all year.
I will critique one area - the ot strategy w two d. Other than that he has been a breath of fresh air here and has done an outstanding job.

You've repeatedly tried to attack me with broken english, false comments, and a lack of understanding simple concepts such as scoring rate. Which you've demonstrated by repeatedly posting comparison charts that don't even include scoring rate. Comparisons to Couturier in point totals. Who scored those points playing on the 3rd line with little PP time compared to a player who is playing on the 1st line with top offensive players on the team. This is all been explained to you multiple times yet you still respond with the same ignorance. No matter how many times it is explained.
I'm willing to talk hockey with you and see who is capable of understanding. At your own peril. - MJL
attack. thanks man this is hilarious (period)
we didn't discuss scoring rate. when i posted the natural stat trick i even said they are different players but similar ages for comparison. your response was the passive aggressive one. we have never discussed scoring rate as you claim.
obviously (comma) no you are not.

No, Tortorella won't install a different system. He never has and he never will. Veteran coaches like him don't change how they play. It was the same for Laviolette and Vigneault.
All of us who aren't even there can see that things have to change. Some other posters and I correctly identified the issues with the team and what needed to be changed months ago. While posters such as yourself argued against it. I give credit to Tortorella for speaking out publicly about it but one did not need to be a hockey savant to realize what was painfully obvious.
The issue is not that Tortorella wants to change things. It will be what he'll want to change it to. Which is not modern hockey. |

Ottawa is a really fun team to watch. - Tomahawk
They are? With all those names and shots and we, a lesser team, take them to OT while they still believe they might sniff the playoffs? |

It was a push and some jawing. Hardly call that 'engaging'.
ND waved to Kastelic THREE times as he skated toward the box. - Tomahawk
Doesn’t mean Kastelic actually has to go towards him? ND isn’t his daddy…or maybe he was last night.
What kind of weird argument is this? |

The waving and gesturing to a player is instigating. It was a wash. - MJL
Players skate by the bench and wave players off the bench. How many players a night do you guys see leaping off the bench? Common guys, the Sens player should know the rules by now… |

That's hockey. PPs, bounces and goaltending are the great equalizers. |

No. But some are saying the him signaling is instigation. |

If ND wasn't coming off another fight nothing about that sequence would be out of the ordinary. A challenge was issued and accepted. End of story.

ND waving a guy over who's jawing at him is as empty of a gesture as Binnington pumping up the crowd after his pathetic display the other night or Domi doing the WWE belt post-fight celebration. None of those get called and that's like instigating the entire bench by that logic.
When Kastelic crosses the entire ice and you literally see his gloves fly off that breaks the code in my opinion.
I'm not going further into it as we all just aren't going to agree on it and that's fine. - black_francis
It gets no more simple an explanation than this.
I’m in Detroit. You guys are in Philadelphia. If i challenge you to a fight in the deal of an argument, should I expect you to be at my door in 8 hours?
How far are you guys willing to go to make excuses as to why you hate one player on your own team? We get it. You hate enforcers. |

How many times has someone fought two players in a row like that. I know it’s happened before just can’t remember who from the flyers. But also just in general. When was the last time that has happened? |

No and pretty sure he was breaking the code there. If he wants to go wait until he’s back out there. |

I agree with that. It was a punk move and again he was lucky the refs kept ND at bay for the most part. |

I think we forget who who are to the sport of hockey. Spectators. If Kastelic wants to get his ass kicked just like his teammate, god bless. Who are we to say anything? ND was taking all comers. |

Reminds of what John Scott would’ve done. Lol
And yes. For him going to challenge dropping and engaging. He threw no punches. Nd would’ve rag dolled him. |
