It is not a coincidence that shortly after having him start more than once a week, he's injured.

Levi is in his own net with UPL and Comrie sharing the other. Anderson remains out. My personal expectation is Levi plays vs. FLA and CAR, and UPL plays vs. DET. #Sabres

The extras at forward appeared to be Hinostroza and Olofsson..... After moving out of Thompson's spot, Mittelstadt was back at wing with Jost and Greenway, who has scored in back to back games.

They had Jost and Oloffson on the wing.

I just expected the Sabres to do the opposite of what is smart, as has been the case in the last decade. I also would have understood if they went with a different goalie when Comrie did play well in his last two games.

That said, I'm glad it's Levi and I look forward to seeing how he handles it. I'm hoping he thrives under the pressure and shows a glimpse of what we all wanted. That, paired with a hopefully healthy and tested Thompson and a second line that has found its game again and I'm excited. Biggest game in a decade, April 4th and I'm excited for a Sabres game.

Sometimes, College sports play different nights now, just not weekends anymore. But I am sure he had his fill of them. That's a lot to ask of him though.

5 of 35 games played on a Mon/Teusday. Usually at least 6 days of rest between double headers and the next game. Or vice versa

I get he is capable of doing the back2backs but I wouldn't recommend unless we're on the cusp in that last week and hes playing out of his mind.
