Nah.. Not even close... Has more points as a defenseman than Carter in like 20 less games haha. He's had long stretches of great play this season, Carter has not.

Does anyone want to see us make the playoffs at this point? I accepted we weren’t good awhile ago. But somehow our team has kept us in the hunt just to keep disappointing us. What better for our future? Playoffs or a just falling in the standings?

It cant be overstated enough how bad Hextall made this team from last year to this year. Just remarkably terrible asset management and player evaluation. But beyond that, how bad he's made this team during his tenure.

Lemieux deciding to hire Hextall is probably one of the only misses that guy has had related to Pittsburgh since he came here in 1984.

Bringing back the same goalie tandem, giving Desmith a raise, then doing nothing at the deadline… that has been glaring issue #1. Even when we play well, the goalie blows it.

Yep. He's basically made one good move with Rakell. Nearly everything else has been a f'n disaster.
