This is called reaching.
They own the Pens? Pens are 11-7-2 vs them the past three seasons including playoffs...0-3-1 this season but thats never your narrative when discussing this very subject...its always been they've always owned the Pens haha - MattStrat
The Isles let us win those 11 games. They enjoy toying with us, sadistic bunch they are. |

It’s not there yet. You’re mistaking my whole point. Pretty soon there won’t be 1000 games to celebrate and the team will be absolute poop. It will be interesting to see what milestone nights they throw together because it’s no longer a hockey team competing for each other. It’s an entertainment group. Oh the Islanders wouldn’t let that hit slide, and they own the pens so im not sure what that has to do with anything. - Grinder47
I have never seen, across any of the sports I follow, a fan legitimately love a rival team the way you love the islanders. It’s weird and off putting. |

Oilers with three 100 point players this season....thats crazy stuff. I could see them outscoring their way to the finals, goaltending be damned haha. - MattStrat
Same, they almost did last year until they ran into the eventual Cup winners, and the West looks weaker this year. In their 16 playoff games, McD had 33 points and Drai had 32 points, which is nuts. Kane, RNH, and Hyman were all around a PPG, too. |

Its like you're reaching for something that isnt there regarding the Pens....their milestone nights have been legit...unless there's ones I missed that I'm not aware of.
The Islanders are a hockey team to you though, right? You're always getting hard ons for them around here and for years now. I mean, they're almost in the exact same position as the Pens while dropping important games to even lesser competition than the Pens lost to last night haha. Go over to their message board...they all think they've been pathetic lately, that they're barely showing up for games with the season on the line. Your hate for your supposed favorite team has no bounds. - MattStrat
I support this post. |

Go on our message board. One of the biggest problems we all have with our team is they don’t stick up for/support each other. There has been zero retaliation for any dirty/questionable hits the last couple of seasons. They also often don’t support each other in play which we’ve seen the last couple of losses. You’re thinking of the islanders three seasons ago under trotz. We are seemingly no longer that team. I’m also taking into account some earlier and recent(Romanov, Barzal) key injuries. Our team doesn’t stick up for themselves any longer. Period.
With that said yeah we do own you this year for whatever reason. |

Mostly goaltending. You have the best in the league and the Pens goalies have been a mess.
This post is awesome though...hopefully it gives him a better perspective on his favorite team hahaha
I like how you take into account for the injuries...hardly anyone around here wants to think that can be factor at all ...that missing so many D-men at once, so often this season, couldnt be a factor at all hahaha |

You follow other sports? That’s what’s weird and off putting. |
