game 7 at home...always important to stick the knife in your fans heart....live. - Symba007
The leafs would never do that.
They’ll slice off their middle fingers so they can’t shoot the team the finger but they’ll keep them alive to absorb decades of disappointment moving forward into their personality.

i wish, if he can draw penalties by falling over, please do that - senstroll
Year one he did all the damn time.
I knew he was a diver before Christmas last year which explained to me why, even in Arizona, he couldn’t make an NHL club until he was 26 even though he had the talent of being a 60P guy.
He’s a diving loser. Under a million right now so fine, I can accept him, but I won’t be unhappy when he takes a 4-5 million dollar deal elsewhere next season.

Who cares if hes a diver? No, really though. Who cares. There's been endless amounts of players who fit that role over the years around the entire league. We loved Darcy Tucker ffs. The entire Vancouver Canucks team were divers for about a decade.
The guy has back to back 20 goal, 50 point seasons and can be plugged into a spot that helps your best players produce more without having to pay 8+ million in that spot.
Who gives a poop if he's a diver, he's also in a lot of ugly areas taking a lot of grease that a lot of players wouldn't. If he wants to throw the odd dive, he's bled enough to earn the right to make that choice.

Nope, I won’t relate him to guys like Tucker since Tucker would fight.
Bunting is just a diving loser who has yet to fight and he’ll be elsewhere next year. Looking forward to it.
As I said, for less than a million I don’t mind him, he’ll be $4+ million next year tho (Mikheyev got $4.75 million ffs) so at that price bye bye.
