I hated him more than I dislike Gallant.

“Patrick Kane has 9 playoff points in the past 6 years when he was still in his 20’s”

Patrick Kane's most recent playoffs combined. 20 games. 18 points. why do you hate stats? I'll be your huckleberry.

Probably not

I'm one of those people that I could hate the trade, but as soon as you put on the Rangers jersey I will root for you. The team winning is more important then my personal feelings about a player.

I thought they were ok in the 1st, the 2nd wasn't pretty, but hell they are playing one of the best teams in the league and we all knew Tampa was going to come out in the 2nd after taking the 1st off.

Meh, they were outshot in both the first and 2nd. 2nd was pretty bad. But whatever, they won. Happy they should some moxy. Plus it helped Vasilevsky let in a couple stinkers.

Actually I thought the first period was pretty good. Sure Vasi was doodoo, but the Rangers were shooting the puck and had solid offensive presence.

I mean I have to eat it, I thought he'd be terrible. He's not. Chalk it up, another L on the board for my life and move on.

I mean it wasn't their worst period of the year, or the night. But it wasn't great. The Kakko goal was a good shot, but you'd expect a goalie like Vasilevsky to make that save. The Motte goal was bad. But good things come to those who work hard and Motte worked his nuts off the that goal.

Stop being an bumhole.
The facts are that Kane does not stink and you are too stubborn to adjust from your initial (justifiable) position from before there was any evidence about how he would fit in here. He has been fine. Not great, not terrible. He is far better than advertised on the defensive side and is known for elevating his game in the playoffs. The cost to acquire was the biggest red flag and it ended up being more than reasonable.
We all know your opinion on the matter, so do us a favour and only post about this again if you have some new take on it. Otherwise, you have become the guy who is ruining the blog.

I still don't know how Motte's first one went in I love the, just throw it at the net mentality of the 4th line though

It happens. I wasn't the biggest Trouba fan at first.

I mean me either. But again, I'm good if the player shows they care in any kind of way. It's why I hated Blais. Look at how he's playing in STL vs how he played here. With Trouba, he clearly cares. Plus he sorta forced his way here and that made people mad. Which as a poop poster, I'm always good with.

The Rangers should have argued that Shesterkin was interfered with. He was pushed into the net by Cirelli (stick-on-pad) before he had a chance to make the save on Hagel's follow-up and Cirelli wasn't pushed in by the Ranger d-man.

I thought so too, at the time. But, thought it might have been too slight to risk the PP against when we were still leading.

I mean we got live in reality. Is Kane great? No. Does he stink? Also no. There is a middle ground here. Refusing to admit you're (I) wrong is stupid.
