Islanders/ Penguins/ Panthers- Someone is gone. Panthers are probably most dangerous, and we should want them out but some real hate for the other two.

I'd like the team to make it that has the best chance to knock the Bruins out

I kind of feel like if the Islanders get the 2nd wild card, Sorokin could pull a Houdini

As much as Pittsburgh is an old, depleted version of themselves, I still would prefer to avoid Crosby in the playoffs if possible.

By almost every fancy stat/metric/what-have-you, Fox has been the best all around defenseman this season. The fact that he is not Erik Karlsson will probably preclude him from winning it. I think he gets the 2nd most votes and that will be a damn shame

Isles would be biggest threat to beat Bruins by far

Veteran teams with great goalie and stingy giving up chances to opponents

Boring ass hockey, but effective

Thats why I think the award is kinda dumb. It doesnt usually reward the best defenseman, it usually rewards the highest scoring one. When those numbers are close to each other, then they access actual defensive play to differentiate. However, considering Karlsson is 2 points away from 100, and will likely end the year with a near 30 point lead over the next closest defenseman in scoring, he will run away with the award. Granted that in the act of actually playing defense, hes pretty terrible.

I’m excited to do this again today. Kane stinks, and now his hip is acting up just in time for the playoffs. Also glad we got him and now can’t rest a single guy before the playoffs. He wasn’t the answer and still isn’t the answer. But hey, 7 years ago he was really good in the playoffs when he was 27.

I love how you’re sticking to your guns. Just like Caufield sucks and Kravtsov is great. Stay miserable tho

The great Cole Caufield that is missing almost 40 games because he’s built like a wet noodle? Kravtsov will turn into a good NHL player, no doubt Drury f’d that one up by not trading him sooner. I’m actually extremely happy with this team. Amazing how when guys say they don’t like Trouba, Gallant should be fired if they don’t win a cup, Chytil sucks and should be traded (you), Kreider sucks etc etc, and I’ve defended every single one of them, that gets overlooked. I don’t like Kane and don’t think he was a good fit for this team. End of story. And now his hip (which I said before we traded for him) is a major concern heading into the playoffs.

Yessss you’ve never been wrong in your entire life, we know this already 🙄

Yep and Barzal is gigantic, and sucks too (because he’s hurt)

You wanted “whatever we can get” for Laf (I’ll never forget you said that either)so shove it about Chytil and he did in fact suck until last year. I was WRONG on Fil, see how easy that is?

An 80% Kane is better than 200% Nino haha. Kane was a luxury after Tarasenko. But keep on hatin in your cocoon of misery

Has Laf been great? No. Has he been better? Absolutely. I also said Laf’s last chance to turn it around is if GG reunited the kid line and it sparked him, a game or 2 later the kid line got put back together and it sparked him. You and the rest will refuse to admit Kane isn’t good anymore. Remember when u said he was going to come over here, join his buddy Panarin and put on a clinic? I haven’t seen that happen, or anything close to it. 1 goal against a playoff team so far (FLA), he’s put up 4 against bottom dwellers, and 0 against PITT NJ CAR in 6 games (likely playoff opponents). He’s not good anymore, end of story.
