I still can't believe the anti Kreider sentiment you guys say exists on twitter.

I guess it shouldn't be surprising when I hear fans at the game explaining the rules completely wrong to people they're with, this is what we're dealing with.

Need to start showing the old Peter Puck cartoons during intermission like they used to in Carolina!

I agree. I was about to go ape poop if he didn't get the instigator.
- JRR1285

For sure. Even the instigator is flawed. Like you guys said, Schneids throws a clean hit and sits for 5 minutes because of Colton. If they changed the instigator to be that the one who does the jumping is the only recipient of the fighting major along with the misconduct, it would stop in a hurry.

They need to do something. Teams/players still don't think the penalty is enough of a deterrent to stop doing it.

True Schneider shouldn't get a penalty at all but giving Colton 2, 5 and a 10 is great as he basically sat the whole 3rd period.

Going to this game ranks probably #2 all-time for most fun Ive had at a game. #1 was Mika's 5 goal game.

The solution is easy, turn the 2 minute instigator minor into a 5 minute major... and of course the defending player is not penalized for defending himself.

Guaranteed players would be far less likely to put their team on the PK for 5 minutes.

He's having another sneaky elite season in terms of goal expected/created analytics.

This team just oozes talent. Passing has been so crisp lately.

I think there’s been 5 or 6 between the leg moves in the past 2 games haha

Who are some of his comps in that stat?

the only real mistake would have been if the cap crunch they put themselves into doing it, playing shorthanded, set them on a losing spiral that put them in wild card or made the playoffs in jeopardy

obviously that didnt happen, their record has been great, so what is the problem?

of course this team has a better chance of playing until June if it has Patrick Kane on it as opposed to if they had Johnny Brodzinski on it instead

- jimbro83

I think Kane banged his girlfriend or something. There's really no other reason why he genuinely hates him. We gave up very little for him and we are no doubt better with Kane in the lineup.

Side note: I fking hate Perry. Loved seeing Harpur pump him at the end of the game

Edit: It's little dated, but that was just last month. And last night they showed a stat on TNT. Since 12/13, nobody has more goals off of deflections than Kreider. He's simply elite around the net.

No, it was sarcasm for the Kreider haters in the social media world. I'm screaming into the void.

We all expected a bit of a regression on the PP given the nature of the majority of his goals, but only 8 goals on the PP is a bit too much of a regression.

His maturity over the last few years is having a great correlation to his play. I think he can be one of those players that plays late into his 30s and remain effective.

He's a fitness freak so that could very well be the case.
