We all expected a bit of a regression on the PP given the nature of the majority of his goals, but only 8 goals on the PP is a bit too much of a regression.

His previous high before last year was 11. 8 is Closer to his norm. the outlier was the 26. Unfair to expect that year in, year out.

Put it this way. Sidney Crosby high in PP goals for a season is 16 and he's scored 548 goals.

There was no way I was expecting 26, but I was thinking something closer to half that. 13-14 goals.

I think Kane banged his girlfriend or something. There's really no other reason why he genuinely hates him. We gave up very little for him and we are no doubt better with Kane in the lineup.

Side note: I fking hate Perry. Loved seeing Harpur pump him at the end of the game

- NYR11

Love Kane always wanted him here and knew they were going to target him at the trade deadline. Got him at a ridiculous low price on top of it. In saying that I want the PP 1 to stay exactly the way it was last night. PP 2 should be the kid line with Kane and Trouba at the points

He's a fitness freak so that could very well be the case.

If Ovi can, why not. Kreider doesnt have too much of an injury history beyond some bumps and bruises that comes normal to the way he plays.

even forgetting Kreider's 52 goal season last year, going back to the playoffs, he has 45 goals in his last 95 games

there's absolutely nothing to complain about with Chris Kreider

for a franchise that has almost always failed with first round picks when they have drafted forwards, he is one that panned out as good as could have expected for a 19th overall pick

people just cannot be happy, thats what it comes down to

True Schneider shouldn't get a penalty at all but giving Colton 2, 5 and a 10 is great as he basically sat the whole 3rd period.
- Rangers99

Yeah, but he's not a major contributor, so they really only suffer through a 2 min. minor. If it was a major and potentially shorthanded for multiple goals against, I think the practice would evaporate rather quickly.

Rumor has it that TPC is in possession of said rib.

See if it wasnt for Kreider, we would be first. Hes such a bum.
- aecliptic

Really? We'd have 2.2 times our current value???
The Bruins have an inhumane total for that stat.

I can definitely agree with this. PP1 looked incredible last night.

I know I've said this before. But man I would REALLY love to resign Tarasenko. He fits in so well, and he really seems to enjoy being here

Senko fits so seamlessly into our offense, I agree, said it a couple weeks ago, unfortunately hes still young enough to get a decent paying contract from someone unless he takes a discount or we manage to somehow get the kids to take cheap bridge deals. Id also very much like to resign Mikkola.

I know it won't be easy, but if we can get the kids to sign decent bridge deals and maybe get rid of someone like Goodrow, then who knows. I would be cool with letting Jones/Robertson compete for Mikkola's spot if it meant being able to resign Tarasenko. This is a conversation we can revisit in July though

It really does seem he loves it here, his reaction on the bench after we scored is infectious and has to rub off on his teammates. Oozes positivity.

I wonder if he would take a 3 year deal to stay here. I wonder at what AAV

I think he can easily get 6m. The problem in NY is all the dang taxes, so we have to overpay everyone.

I was screaming at the game "resign him yesterday".

If were going to somehow trade Goodrow to create more cap space, Motte HAS to be resigned.
