So u don’t think not being able to rest guys before the playoffs is important? And we can’t do that now bc of this dolt. - nyrangers9479
Wait.....didn't you try to bring up Kane's +/- as a reason he stinks. Kane has 10 points and is a +1 for the Rangers. Nino has 10 points and is a sexy -5 with the Jets let's hear your next dumb argument.
Just tell us Kane banged your girl. It'll make you sound less stupid |

they wouldnt have been able to rest guys if they acquired Neiderreiter either you idiot
- jimbro83
But we have Kane, and can’t rest anyone. That’s a fact. Who’s to say if we added a 3rd NSH wouldn’t have retained? I don’t care who we got, that’s y I said we could do hypotheticals all day. Nino at 50% etc etc, we don’t know who was available. Fact is, Kane cried when the Rangers got Tarasenko, we had to jump through hoops putting Kane ahead of the team making these guys play short handed, and now he’s above the team again bc we can’t rest anyone before the playoffs. And on top of that, he stinks. |

the Rangers play tonight 4/6 (final back to back nights of year, there are no back to back nights in playoffs)
they play saturday 4/8
they play Monday 4/10
They finish regular season thursday 4/13
the playoffs start tuesday 4/18
are there really not enough rest days?

The gap between the two isn't large to throw this much of hissy fit over. Straight facts homie. |

Guys are banged up, if we could get guys some extra rest we wouldn’t? But even if we needed to, we can’t. 82 games will wear anyone down. Guys playing with things we don’t even know about. |

the Rangers would have needed to give up more if they wanted Nashville to eat some money. At the full cap hit Nino was impossible. Some people just hate math. |

Kane stinks, you or anyone else isnt going to change my mind. Even when u watch the game, I don’t think he’s been good, to many lazy plays. I’ve liked Tarasenko Motte and Mikkola though 👍 |

I said it earlier
if playing shorthanded hurt the team and caused a losing streak or something, I would have had a problem with it
it absolutely didn't, so why is this a problem

The real underlying reason for his POV is that Kane makes us less of a WWE/UFC team and more of a high end skill team.
That’s it. There’s no other reasoning behind his unreasonable and irrational opinion. |

Add the 3rd and 4th we gave up for Kane and Nino retained at 50%, I’m signing for Nino everyday of the week over Kane. |

Last night they showed they can still do that. Plus if they had to Kreider and Goodrow could fight. I want Kreider fighting less and scoring more. that's also just rational. |

He’s not skilled enough anymore to make up for his deficiency’s in the other parts of his game. If he’s not scoring he brings nothing to the table. And 34 year old Kane doesn’t score the way 26 year old Kane did. |

Thank God you're not the Rangers GM. And whose to say that gets it done?!? Do you think the Jets tried adding a sweetener to lessen the hit? No one knows....

Agreed all around. This team isn’t soft. Toughness comes in many shapes and sizes, not just grit. |

The Rangers don't need him to. They just need him to pass the puck to Kreider and Zibanejad. Then let the AVV line and the kid provide the depth. Pretty simple. |
