Yes it does.
But many times this season when things were good, heard it was Botts team. Pretty sure even from you.
You see he waived the white flag. I see he believed in the kids. - ZiggyBuff
all I said was botts drafted well
which he did |

There were no moves that made this team a cup contender this year. As much as it would have been nice to end the drought, in the grand scheme of things it means Jack $hit for future seasons - Swedish_Jesus
third team in scoring for the entire nhl
that screams grab a goalie better than comrie and a decent top 4 d man

Stop shinning that Bobblehead, if the Sabres were as respected by players as you seem to think a College goalie wouldn't be holding Adams Balls in his hand controlling the situation, same as Johnson. |

I want someone to ask âKevyn what was the plan this yearâ at the End of season PC.
âWhat targets did you hit or missâ
Also ask âdid winning matter to you or was that secondaryâ |

I will say, this is one of the best college goalies in the history of NCAA hockey we're talking about. Not like he's Eric Portillo or something. Levi is a confident young man and clearly knows his worth. Don't know what else Adams could have done with this one. |

If Adams gets out leveraged as an NHL GM from a college prospect is that elite?
How bad has ownership been to drag down the franchise name to that level? |

Yes he has turned into a very good get, doesn't exonerate Adams from not upgrading his goaltending the last 2yrs. |

yeah but it got them no superbowls.
sorry but making the playoff this year and loosing out would make me feel ZERO percent different then I do now about this team. the youngest team in the NHL needs to mature more, that's not a bad thing. if we are talking about missing next year then people have a valid complaint. This team should get better for the next 5-8 years making no moves, just letting the kids mature into their games. |

Hey Levi, you are still our number one priority but while you are still playing games in college, we are going to bring someone in to help this team contend for the playoffs. When/if you are ready, you will have a chance to start this year.
Seems like a pretty easy conversation to have |

So if they were to get in and get swept this year, makes no difference. if they get in and get swept next year. Great success? |

Not on Defense they won't, they don't have the prospects like they do at Forward. |

Your comparing the bryson deal to Tage and Cozens? đ”âđ« - ZiggyBuff
Bryson is 1.85m and is for one more year - who the hell cares, (a) he was very good last year (sucks this year), (b) we have more cap space than virtually any other team next year and (c) itâs only 1.85m and goes away |

I think it was/is imperative that Adams has Levi and Johnson sign here. Just imagine the poop show if either bolted. Got to have them here. Stop the bleeding is rule #1 in a crisis...and having just pushed 3 malcontents out the door because they didn't want to be here meant he needs to stabilize the roster and capitalize on the strong prospect pool.
Now, with the season they have had, and being a young fun team with studs in critical positions up and down the lineup means Adams should have more success in convincing a couple FA's to sign here to fill holes. Not high-level FA's but above average F's for the bottom 6 and a solid Goalie.
Trade for that #4Dman as the cost and term to land one in FA usually doesn't pan out very well. |

It was very imperative that he got both signed, but it also shows how weak there position was in both cases. Especially when your system is very weak in both areas |
