I think you are being a bit neurotic here.
I was ok with how he talked about the bullies. To me, he effectively put them in an ambassador type of role with his words. He made it clear that they have no input on hockey operations unless someone wants to reach out to them. What else can he say? All he said was briere can bounce something off them if he wants to. That could happen if they have an official role with the flyers or not. I wouldn’t expect that he’d just bury the bullies and say they have no ties anymore.

I think you're being naive. People placed in an ambassador role, have no influence or role in decision making. Clearly by what he said, that is not the case. What else can he say? He can say that they've been completely removed from the picture. I think it's naive to think that they won't speak unless spoken to. They have ties, the same way any other former player has ties. That's it. There needs to be a complete firewall between them and hockey ops.
