Years have made me skeptical with the Isles, but I'm feeling surprising good about this game.

Sorokin has been his usual rock solid self.

Caps up 1 - 0 over the Panthers.

Edit: Florida tied it up.

I thought the Caps might at least force OT which would have helped the Isles in the tiebreaker........but it was not to be.

Went to the game they played solid now they need to beat the caps cause the pens have weak teams and the panthers have 2 top teams but they are on fire

IF Barzal happens to come back, I wonder how confident he’ll be with his knee. Took Lee nearly a year to get back to where he was prior to his injury. Not sure exactly what Barzy did but it may take him a while to get going.

The fact that he hasn't started skating with the team means he's not coming back imo at least for the regular season. At this point round 1 would be a suprise as it took jpg a week or two with the team before he skated in games.

Also happy Easter cockfags!!!! The canes are playing for home ice so that's good news as long as it's close for their game vs panthers. If it's locked in then they will sit the world

Islanders’ Bo Horvat shades old Canucks side: ‘Better than Vancouver’

Why would you say something like that?

He said such, because the Canucks organization is notorious for being toxic. Everything from ownership on down, including top management and the media.

On top of that, the local fan base can be more than a bit fickle, and attendance sees huge swings depending on team performance.

As the past Captain of a franchise with that kind of reputation, I dare say he might have his reasons for chucking shade. Especially so if his past treatment contrasts poorly with the treatment he’s received as an Islander (and I suspect it does).

It's still shocking to me that a professional athlete would make such a statement. He's the former captain no less. I'm sure he's going to get a warm welcome when the Isles play in Vancouver.

I guess things were pretty bad.

My thought exactly. But I guess he figures he can put up with it once a year. Also, I never realized how bad the Vancouver organization's reputation was, until Schwein pointed it out above. So there's that....

Have to agree. Hopefully if and when he does come back, he progresses at JGPs pace and not Lees. Lee took a long time to get comfortable playing at his normal game speed.
