It was the worst possible outcome for the draft so naturally it happened. |

And Chicago wins Bedard. It really does make you wonder when you look at the sevvveral smaller market teams that surround them in the lotto odds.. |

Eh. Do they have any other up and coming top talent? Other teams around them do. And at least he’s out west. Not the worst case. |

Not sure you're aware of them covering up the sexual assault of their player for 10 years and they received literally no penalty for it. On the other hand we got our 1st round pick taken from us because we signed Kovalchuk to a contract that an arbitrator deemed legal under the NHL rules but Bettman decided to veto anyway. |

I wasn’t looking at it from an ethics perspective. Just hockey-wise it’s not the worst thing. |

i mean Kyle won his civil suit and the entire leadership of that team was out, right? And now with Kane and Toews gone, there is no one on the team from that season. If this was a legit lotto win, do you think they should continue to be punished? |

There were no punishments given to the team at all and you think the owners just didn't know? The team let the coach go and gave him a letter of recommendation to coach at a school where he abused kids too. So yeah, I do think they should continue to be punished instead of just gifted the next generational talent in the game. |

and a 2 million dollar fine doesn't mean jack poop when you're gifted the kind of revenue that Bedard will bring in. |

Ruff says Luke will play again tonight. Also says Graves could play depending on how he's feeling later today after skating this morning. They're going 11-7 again. |

No morning skate for Canes.
Availability at 4:30 so we'll find out more then. |

I'd rather see them go with 6D and just let Luke play. His one big mistake was on the powerplay. Let him expand into that role and give him space to grow.
Sharangovich on the 3rd line with Haula + somebody and just keeping BMW together. I'm not crazy about double shifting centers really. |

Timo set up so many high danger chances and nothing, and then gets that cheapo to go. You knew he was going to start breaking out at some point. |

Vanecek is so bad. Why is he still in this (frank)ing game |

I just can't see why they didn't go back to Schmid this game. It would've been one thing if Vanecek had a strong outing last game, but he didn't. |

This has gone as expected. Really is amazing. Instead of disappointment it’s just frustrating with each goal that gets tacked on which further embarrasses us. Almost went to this game, but had a bad feeling.. which may be linked with Vanecek in net. |
|
|
|
So what goalies are avilailable this summer? Lmao. I still can't believe Ruff actually went back to Vanecek tonight. Literally the entire hockey world was saying it should be Schmid. It was the easiest decision ever. Jack Adams finalist my ass. |
