I would tend to agree with that, but I saw some soft Sabres teams turn into something different in the playoffs before. Just what type of player are you are you willing to take it up another notch in the playoffs. That's what we need to see with this team, what kind of hockey player are you when the show starts. Making the playoffs this year could have been a huge experience for these kids. Really could have shown Adams what he has in some of these players and in what areas do we need to adjust things.

Playoffs always ramp it up, especially the first couple series. We will have to see what type of team we have. It's not like we are a small team, can they turn up the heat in the playoffs.

Agreed, November December when are Defense was getting ravaged by injuries, a tweak then could have really helped. It's never just hitting, it's do you have the players that are willing to warp there games to the different styles of play that will happen in a playoff run.

We have guys who are hard on the puck. Cozens, Quinn, Tuch, Skinner etc. even Thompson, Mitts and Krebs

We really could use one guy though that will go run through the boards on a 4th line and maybe cause a split second hesitation for the opposing D

When I was younger I had this Coach. Coach Robertson used to tell us that throwing hits is great and can change the momentum of a game sometimes. But he always said he would rather us be tough to play against, strong on the boards or bellow the dot and goal. Didn't always need the big hit to get the puck. Win the puck battle, throw a shoulder into a chest or a hard butt into a hip and win the puck battle. After 3 periods of getting shoulders in the chest or a butt to the hip all game long changes the complection of things to.
