Also assuming teams that are literally always good will suddenly stop being good - sbroads24
I mean Pittsburgh, Washington, and Nashville all ended long playoff streaks this season.
But we’ll ignore those I guess |

He's great. There's no replacing him. But they just set a modern era win record. One player doesn't account for 25-30 points in the standings - sbroads24
Bergeron and Krejci are two players.
I’ll take you up on that bet they drop 25-30 points next year.

Context is important.
Dropping 25 points and they are still a top 3-5 NHL team. |

They ended playoff droughts by missing the playoffs? Is that some sort of reverse psychology?
Don't you end playoff droughts by making the playoffs? |

What do you think Z gets if he signs with another team, as a UFA? - kingcong39
1.25 mil for girgens and a better pk ranking for the sabres in 2023-24

Yeah, I get that. I’ve gone to a lot of Sabres games with ex college / junior hockey goalies who tell me these things.
And after awhile you can pick up on it. - Sabretooth9
Hey to each their own! But this junior goalie is still highly intrigued lol. |

Depends on the year.
Losing Bergeron, Krejci, while having their shooting luck and goaltending regress and all of a sudden they are a wild card team.
Also have to consider the 25 point drop would correlate with the rest of the Atlantic picking up some of those points. |

I don't see him taking a paycut. I think he signs for the same amount. |

Rosen could be great in 26/27 - to waste a 14 OA pick in 21' was worse than the Alex Nylander pick. It didn't/hasn't helped the Sabres as he is a less effective skilled winger than the players on the team and those drafted after him.
Adams talks soft, builds soft, resulting in soft product. Maybe he'll bring up bullying at the next GM's meeting and ask other teams to stop as its not nice. - washedup20
Maybe he can have our dad talk to their dad.

not by any of the other 31 teams
adams will reward him and okposo to keep the vibes going
bring back the 3 headed goalie because upl and comrie want to be here
jost and vinny off the roster
savorie on the roster if kane can't be signed
expect ahl depth players once free agency hits

He came into this season with Rochester at roughly 175 pounds, so he's already begun the process of bulking up. - kingcong39
Amerks site has him at 155.
Curious, where's that 175 coming from?
Usually team pages overplay the height and weight stats. |

No no no ….. did you even watch levi? That kid is lightyears ahead of upl and Comrie as a goalie. He is good. It’s not based at all on merit.
UPL has had multiple seasons in Rochester and now in buffalo, His goals against is consistently above 3.00.
His weakness are very very obvious and he’s shown no improvements.
Really bad take by you. - Sabretooth9

Basically what 89 said other than getting a Dman and maybe a top 6 forward. Basically the same as was needed last off-season |
