He was having a terrible game to begin with. On our 2nd PP, the puck was kinda flubbed down the ice and he just coasted back like it was some leisurely skate in the park and Suzuki just pounced, skating around him and roofed a backhand. I can’t blame Sorokin because he was probably shocked it happened. A room full of veterans were probably shocked some rookie would half-ass a play like that in such a big spot. |
