risto - most improved flyer but some here won't listen to that

It’s really messed up that “fans” want to be right about how terrible they believe he is so that they can say they’re right. Ristolainen was one of the very few bright spots to the season. Now he has to do it all over again next season. It’s very simply concept. He’s just a role player here. Buffalo wanted Risto to be “the guy” which he had no business being. Even Keith Jones took a shot at Buffalo and how many coaches Ristolainen played under at the end of the broadcast. How does a guy settle in?

Love the Provorov finish this even. I would have liked to have seen him in more offensive situations this year. Konency had a strong season. I love both guys but I think both guys gives us the best chance at rebuilding in a trade. We’re so deep on the right side with Konency, Tippett, Allison, Atkinson, Foerster and Brink, we need to strengthen in other areas. As for Provorov, I think he just wants out.

Of course there is zero evidence that Hextall wanted to tear it down to the studs.

Hence the "even if he wanted to" part

As bad as a GM that Fletcher is, in a few years we may be praising him for his drafting and this trade for Tippet.

Do you think it will take a few years in regard to Tippet? Some such as I liked the trade when it happened. While you were bashing the trade because they got a player that couldn't stay in the Florida lineup. There is a very basic fundamental truth in hockey that would be beneficial for you to learn. Most times, all a talented young player needs is a legitimate opportunity and some consistent ice time to succeed. That was the case with both Tippet and Frost and the lack of understanding of that basic principle. Is why you offered such obviously flawed opinion on both players.
