Thank for this season is over. What a disaster again. Why do you think hart is a lock to be traded. I still think we need a goaltender and I can just imagine when he excels for another teams and we go on another 20 year search for a starting goalie what the reaction, mine included will be.
- Hextall271

I think the idea is that Hart's next contract will be $$$ and the team will be in a rebuilding state for the majority of it. By the time the team is ready to turn a corner he's probably gonna be past his peak.

Not to mention that having a good goalie around is not conducive to maximizing draft position during the next little while.

Plus Ersson seems decent and Fedotov could be in the mix starting next season.

I do think Briere trades a player on the roster to get a second 1st rd pick. A team like STL makes sense with multiple 1st rdrs as a trade partner.

Thanks for being first class Philly the way your team treated our Captain. Means a lot!!

I'm glad the local Philly station stayed with the brief ceremony for us to watch here in the Philly area. He's a class guy that's had a rough couple of years.

He could be, but he has not played any competitive hockey for a year, and he is not a spring chicken.

Would love to get my hands on one of their other first rounders (I think it's Toronto and NYR). Maybe they'll have interest in Konecny since they seem to be re-tooling their forward core (or is it corps?). I think they would want to move one of their higher paid dmen though.

That was a classy display of respect. Really glad, the Flyers did that.

Who on the Flyers would you give up 1st round pick for?

First point is a concern.

The age thing tho... he's at around the same age that Shesterkin and Sorokin crossed over.

Blues with 3 first round picks in the 2023 draft. Wings, Hawks, Jackets, Sharks, Yokes, Preds, with 2 first round picks in the 2023 draft. Most of these teams are west teams. I would target these teams to get one of their draft choices. All none playoff teams.

agree with this, been saying they need to find a late first from a team who has multiple and somehow get the 2nd back in 23n24, from there I don't care, let the kids keep getting better.

first goal for TK, Frost looked flat out fast going up the ice, only seen the replay, where the Hawks players gassed?

Detroit could be a landing spot for Provorov if they envision him as a good partner for Seider. Chiarot definitely did not work out in that regard.

They have cap space galore and I'd be happy getting NYI's pick for him. Though they might want to keep a spot open for Edvinsson.

Konency and Provorov warrant a first round pick, in my opinion. Not to mention the fact the Blues were also trading for reclamation projects at the deadline.

I haven't said he is a lock. Reliable sources such as Eliotte Freidman have suggested that Hart is a player the Flyers could be looking to trade. It makes some sense with where the team is at and that he is an asset that could bring a good return.

I know you are unhappy with him, but I somewhat in respectful disagreement with your opinion. If you allow me a medical comparison- Torts is abroad spectrum antibiotic for the septic body of this organization. Once the culture (sepsis) is over the body will need more sophisticated means and approaches in order to optimize performance.
- missingmike

In that same medical analogy. Giving a patient the wrong antibiotic can be troublesome and set the patient back. Tortorella has introduced a "sepsis" into this team. A more relevant cliche to me is that Tortorella is one step forward, two steps back.

26 is still young for a goaltender. Many goalies at that age are just coming into a #1 role.

The Flyers, despite playing under a so called defensive coach. We're not very good defensively.

IMO, TK has the highest value on the team. I would venture to guess the frame work of the deal might be slightly better then G to FLA.

As far as the blueline another needs to be opened up besides moving DeAngelo. I'm not sure how this plays out. I would think probably Provy, but not sure.

I haven't heard that anywhere. It doesn't seem to me as though Hart is caught up in that in any way.
- MJL

He was on the team and so far no one has been cleared. It's been dead silent regarding which team members were a part of it. I initially heard this on 32 Thoughts with Marek and Friedman.

I thought that all the non-involved players have issued statements so it's basically process of elimination to see who was actually involved.

That was the first shift of the game. So I assume no.
