Canes sputtered the last quarter of the season but the playoffs are a reset. That said they struggle to score - Upstate_isles
Best team defensively after The B’s. It’s gonna be a battle. Should be tight series and low scoring games you would think. |

Isles have a better chance to make the second round over the rangers but the rangers have a better chance to win the cup on money puck I think. They have no clue - Upstate_isles
I don’t even bother looking those odds sites. They’re all over the place. I get that’s how they adjust but to me it makes little sense to watch. I don’t bet on hockey games. |

This site only gives the Islanders a 24% chance of advancing past the Canes. Then again it also gives the Canes a better chance of winning the Cup than the defending champ Avs! - JohnScammo
Good defensive teams typically win so it’s not a shock. Injuries will effect them though for sure.

Probably smart looking at some of your predictions
Although I’m very surprised that others on here don’t bet based on how knowledgeable they are about any and everything hockey? |

I don't understand any of it, and at some point over the recent past it's become a constant part of the game broadcasts. Every 35 minutes or so they'll just break into this foreign betting language and it's all perfectly meaningless to me. |

Yep me too. Hockey has to be one of the more unpredictable sports there is as far as I know. I don’t bet on any to be fair. Cards that’s about it for me. |

I will be going to one or both of the games up here. |

The only thing I know is if you bet $100 on the Islanders to win the cup and they do you win $4600. |

It's everywhere. Its absurd at this point.
I don't do it. I'll play poker but that's it. I used to play some blackjack, but I stopped. I tried craps and lost my money so fast I had no idea what happened. |

The key to beating the canes is to keep your patience when they have the puck and attack the points. Don't collapse.
When YOU have the puck, just take it to the net. Canes struggle to defend when directly attacked. Prefer to angle you into traps if you let them. |
